I think you assume or are led to assume its a person who made the start. We don't really know if there is a start. But what we do know is that the Sun has been bathing our planet with energy for 5 billion years and without it we cannot exist. That to me is one of the many 'God's' that allow us to be.

@TheZagiello Idiotic boy, this is just the first step of a FIVE year (minimum) experiment. The SDO does more than take pretty pictures and videos, it monitors what goes on inside so we can better understand our star (Sol or the Sun). I guess you also don't know that our planet is inside the Sun's outer atmosphere? Now we can better understand what makes it tick, and how it affects our lives in our planet. Stay in school and stop being so dumb. :D
