By the way, I prefer Xfce on my desktop It's speed & minimalistic approach. I always prefer minimal menus and clutter.

Compiz Fusion is the "best" choice, that's an extended version of Compiz. Beryl also was something like that, but it's discontinued now. So either use Compiz or Compiz Fusion.
