  • If I was the guy, I'd just claim I was really bad at balancing my checkbook, so I figured the two million dollar balance was accurate. I'd drool a lot and vote republican to sell my story. If there is one thing this country rewards, it's stupidity.

  • its eagle eye...lol

  • lol the subtitles are epic

  • "all right thank heaven michell phoned which is one" hahahahaha

  • withdraw close the account move to mexico done.

  • That is bs dude he should just keep what he spent it on, not owe anything and give back the rest, their fault their mistake they can pay for it

  • "I would just use it. No questions asked" Well ya dumb broad look where it got this guy. He obviously knew something was wrong and instead of inquiring to the bank about the money, he just went and started blowing it. I dont think any of you on his side would quite appreciate if you accidently sent lets say even $2,000.00 to the wrong person and they blew it all no questions asked. You would be pissed to. He obviously did the wrong thing, granted i do think 25 years is a bit extreme for this.

  • hell ya

  • YES, but only after waiting for a while :)

  • all right thank heaven michell phoned which is one helped

  • There is no justification for taking money that does't belong to you. The only thing to do in this case is report the error to the bank. It was also stupid of this guy to think he could get away with it.

  • @jeffgorc it was in HIS account therefore now HIS money, it is the banks problem

  • How retarded can laws in the states get? Seriously, the person who should be in trouble is the idiot who mistakenly put 2 million dollars in the WRONG bank account. It wasn't the man's fault that the company hired an idiot. But with that said, there's more to this that meet the eyes. The states is one of most corrupted, power hungry capitalist country out there.

  • If your smart about it you could get away with spending it

  • ye yes yes yes yes yeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • shit i would cash it, go to mexico and change identity.

  • i would freak out take the cash and store it somewhere till the heat died down lol XD

  • in some contrys the bank has to give you 10% if something like that happens :P

  • I don't agree with putting the guy in jail, but come on, you should know you can't get away with pocketing a million dollars by mistake. "Finders keepers" never works with banks.

  • Take it all and run to a nice little island where I could live off it for years! Any one who says they wouldn't is either lying or stupid... on second thought, no one is that stupid, they are just lying!

  • TAKE TAKE TAKE !!! ,i would take it ..god damn ,SET THE MAN FREE !

  • the bank teller should go to jail with the man as well

but man i would be pissed

  • I can't help but laugh at the fail subtitles LOL xD

  • Cenk...ur a funny mu fu****......sometimes they dont find out!! lmfao

  • You could withdraw all the money and pay for your own bail if you get caught XD

  • For some reason all that comes to mind is Casey Anthony

    Enough said...

  • wow what a great country we live in, if ur not rich and some1 puts 2 million in ur bank account and u spend some of it u get 25 years in prison, if u r rich and u steal a couple billion they let u walk, what a stupid dumbfuck ass backwards tongue up the wealthy ass corrupt piece of shit society we live in.

  • @kbforme i agree 100%

  • I would never ever use that money, because it is like the lost and found items. Regardless how valuable the object is, it always belongs to the owner. If you do not know the owner, report the object to the authorities. that is my opinion.

  • @Yusuf61248

the right owner never got the money so the bank still ows him, only misfortuned is the bank, do u pity the poor banks ?

  • I would have transferred the money to a Savings Account in the same bank, and told the bank if anyone tried to reclaim the money, they couldn't do it without a court order that was reviewed and approved by my lawyer.

  • he should use the 2 million to get himself a really good lawyer

  • Do you know for a fact that it was a mistake ? No ! Someone you know might have won the lottery and got it deposited in your account as a gift. I'm not going to question it. In fact, I'm cashing out and leaving the country for a new start in the tropics or Europe. Anybody wanna give me a few mil ?

  • I've had that happen to me twice in the last 20 years. 1st time when i was just a kid $1000 appeared in my account - yeah, I spent it. 2nd time was 4 years ago, had $64,000 dropped into my brokerage account (they found the mistake).

Basically, if you find something of value that does not belong to you, you are obligated to turn it in to the authorities. If after a year, no one claims it, then it is yours to keep.

  • @TheAstrobleme in Australia, its only 2 months, then you get it back.. (probly not counting the 1700 years the bank wait's to see if they can solve it to go and get some interest out of it)

  • i would take that money a go burrie it in the ground hahahah and then when i got out of jail i would go get it hahahah and spend it.

  • take the money, move out of the country. I wouldn't be afraid of the police. I'd be afraid of the multimillionare with the same name as me, hiring a hitman to take me out.

  • Shouldn't be the man going to jail for accepting 2M. It should be the idiotic accountant who did it, there are so many ways to identify a person and their bank account, you just don't "accidently" put it in the wrong account. Don't give me this shit about "they had the same name". and ya, as knucklez said, it should be the bank who has to repay the 2M, they're the on hiring idiots

  • its the bank fault. they should be punished for the mistake. they bank should have to pay the person bank for the money that is spent

  • WHAT THE FUCK!! anyone would spend that fucking money. thats like if someone drops a dollar just to watch you pick it up, then they arrest you.

  • cash out the money and buy a ticket to madrid, from here u take a bus ride to paris. there u wait 3 weeks and then take the plane to switserland from there u take the train to russia and then take the plane to mexico and then take a boat to spain. they'll never find you

  • i pray that 2 happen........lol

  • I would wait 2 years.

  • the reason he should go to jail is he dident check with anyone first i mean relly i randomly have 2 mill in my bank obviously some one fucked up

  • this guy is annoying...the one talking

  • id waist tht money in 10 minute ... Newegg.com!!!!

  • Why are all dickheads on you tube so concerned with spelling & grammer stupid dumb fucking morons its not a test

  • .. the young turk ? ... really ? hah the guy on the left ( probz the young turk ) doesnt look that young to be honest :D but he is cool man i i respect you 4 that :D peace man :D p.s .. i would totally use that money :D

  • Only if my name was justin bieber....

  • How cud they jail him O.o where did he live O.o

  • the guy got 15 years in jail...

  • yeah, without any qualms, i mean come on its not buddys fault the bank made a mistake, the banking sytem shuffles around peoples money all the time anyway lol, this time it was just a mistake.

  • Who the hell wouldn't? 2 mil in YOUR bank account. If i don't then what? What to do with the money? I can't burn it can I? and to top it all off im not even average class living?

  • Yup, first I would wait about a week or two and if it's still there, then it's my money. My money, my money, my money, my money, my money! (song) lol. My money!

  • lets do the math

    free+money= grand larceny

    obvious to a point

  • you would be dumb not to take the money

  • how did it end btw? its a vid from 2008

  • Comment removed

  • what u mean take the money??? IT'S ALREADY MINE!!! I'm cashing that the second it comes into my account....

though I'm sure it's hard to file tax for that... XD

  • I'm changing my name to william henry gates

  • @pcdsgh lol.... I'm changing mine to Warren Buffet.

  • ABSOLUTELY taking the money!

  • I'd take. Then creat a fake identity. Live off the gird for awhile come back as Billy Clyde and invest it. Then perhaps start a Ponzi Scheme and become the richest man in the world. All the while, donating some money to charities and my family. :)

  • I'd EMPTY that bank account and put it in some other place.

  • hell fucking yes i would take that shit

  • after this story, probably not, DUH;

    but this is so unfair.... 25 years? MURDERERS have gotten LESS;

un-freaking believable..... totally a system set up to protect the rich....

  • take it

  • take that shit

  • If I was in his shoes, I wouldn't have taken the money. If I was on the jury, however, I would set him free. I know I would be arrested for it, so I guess I would just tell someone at the bank. What sucks is that I know that being a good samaritan about it would probably just get me a story on the news, and no reward.

  • Hellz yeah I would take the money!!!!!

  • its not theft until you realise that its not yours. Which if someone puts $2 million in your account then its obviously you know its not yours. However, if the bank do not realise then ye you can take it. Although to make sure that its abandoned you have to do everything in your power to contact the owner. A person is guilty of theft if they dishonestly, appropriate, property, belonging to another and finally intention to permentatly deprive. He had all elements and therefore a thief.

  • Trying to get the money back because it was a mistake I can understand, but he's not the criminal here! If someone broke into your house and stuck a bag full of money on your bed, would you get arrested for spending that too? Dumb dumb dumb.

  • banks steal from us all the time, so what the fuck, take a little free money, he didnt steal it, the teller gave it to him.

  • Welcome in the US..

  • if we lived in a democracy, then judging by most of the comments on here and any smart person then i think they should let him go

  • Hell yea I'd take the money!

  • oh come on, a bank puts a mill+ in your account and you think they're not gunna do everything in their power (legal or otherwise) to get that back? I wouldn't immediately take the money, although i would immediately get a lawyer to see what i can get away with without pissing off a bank.

  • @glaive21842 defo, i mean, this guy is facing 25 years, i would rather be a free man than a locked up rich guy, check with a lawyer and see if you could get away with it by transferring it.. if your under 18 (UK) u wouldnt have to pay it back anyways..

  • no way he gets convicted of that shit... you dont have to know a persons bank account number or anything like that to put money IN the account which means that somebody who liked this guy could have walked up, written a 2 million dollar check and put it in there. All this guy would have to say is- Im a good guy and I thought someone was bein nice

  • i would absolutely take that money, i might wait awhile to see if they catch on.

  • It's called unjust enrichment, I doubt they can make him pay back what he's spent on perishable items. The wise thing to have done would be to have purchased bearer bonds and claimed you lost them, then there would be no case against you.

  • "Well I thought I'd earned that $2 mil through my minimum wage job. I don't keep track of how much is in there; I just use it when I want...

...And it just so happens that I wanted to buy a couple houses, a yacht, and a handfull of exotic foreign sports cars yesterday... Not my fault."

  • Yes. It's my money and I need it now!

  • @hispano25 Dat's right! It's my money and I need it NOW!

  • id speed alot on charity so if i get cort whats they gonna do take the monney back

  • Who would have done anything different?

  • The bank teller should be responsible for this. If the teller takes money, a check etc, they are responsible to credit their customers accordingly. If a teller comes up short at the end of the day, they have to pay for it. This is just a case of the teller shorting a customer, but now the money is gone. The teller shoud be fucked, not the person he/she handed the money to.

  • @IIIB52 for example, i work at a horse racing track. Many tellers have machines, take bets, exchange cash vouchers, and keep their own balance. Once, a teller left her machine and she didnt log herself out. A patron saw this and leaned over the counter and proceeded to print himself out hundreds of cash vouchers that totald over 60k dollars. He exchanged them for about 10k in cash before he left. The teller was responsible for every penny the patron walked out with.

  • he should have got arrested. Of course nobody is going just to give 2 Millions to you. So it's a clear case of theaft. You have to report that.

  • @M1573R666 If money is in your account, it is your money right? Anybody could deposit money into any account without knoledge of the account owner. So who is to say that this was a bank error? It is the exact same thing if you just find money lying in the street. How can u say he should be arrested?

  • @IIIB52 Cause it's theft by law. Even if you find money on the street, you have to at least try to find the owner. You just must ask the bank if there wasn't any error, if you don't, it's against the law.

  • @M1573R666 laws are the cause for suffering in the world. slavery was at one time legal.

  • @vyanez08 How would you feel, if you loose your wallet, someone finds it and he keeps it? Or let's say, the police even finds the guy who found your wallet and kept, turns out he spent all the money, should he be punished? Should he habe to pay the money back?

I think yes, you apperently don't think so...

  • @M1573R666 i would not blame them for keeping my money cause if would do the same thing. finders keepers losers weepers.

  • @vyanez08 so if somebody finds your wallet, with your I.D. in it and your driving licence, you tell me, you think he's allowed to use all your money and your credit cards and there should be no consequences for him and you don't want the money back?

  • @M1573R666 no i don't think he should be allowed but am i gonna be shocked and surprised that he did. if be surprised if they turned it in and all my money and cards were still there and unused.

  • @M1573R666 you're a dumb ass. you can't even spell theft lol. any smart person would definetly take that money

  • @jonnyjb69 and go to jail for 25 years, yeah, sounds really smart to me... I'm soooo sorry that I accidentally also pressed the a-key, you are right, that thells much about my intelligence you moron. By the way, it's theft by law, I'd recommend you to read up.

  • @jonnyjb69 fuckin a right, id take the shit out of it

  • @jonnyjb69 You spelled "definitely" incorrectly. Just sayin' haha

  • @jonnyjb69 before you go calling people names, you might want to embrace a dictionary yourself. Definately.

  • @jonnyjb69

    spell theft??

    spell definitely fool

  • I mean.. this is a good plan to arrest random people.. put free money in their account, wait for him/her to use it then arrest this person.

    Wthe fuck?...

  • that mistake happened before, most people dont say anything, but the bank finds out sooner or later no matter what.....

  • If that happened to me i would put it in my savings, earn a bit of interest , after awhile no one clams it! SHOPPING!! Time for some new shoe's!!

  • I would totally take the money.

  • @JImmy4336 id take it all out straight away and get out of the country

  • @JImmy4336 hell yeah

  • who in there right mind would tell the bank that they have 2million more dollars in their account that they should take it out

  • whats wrong with america's justice system

  • Going to jail because the dumbass banker gave him money is like putting a million dollars in the middle of a sidewalk and not expecting it to be taken .

  • @Pwnatsf no no no no, i like someone putting two million dollers in your pocket and being expected not to spend it...

  • only what I needed to restore myself. I'd rather go to jail than this.

  • give him the god damn death penalty!

  • fk yea ill take the money

  • No shit I'd take the money...

  • I'd let it sit for awhile.

  • Dude please move the mic away from your face when you yell. 1:27 "That's awesome"

  • Dude please move the mic away from your face when you yell.

  • that was my plan i would get that shit into a swiss account and get the hell out of the country as fast as humanly possible..i wouldn't even bother taking anything but the clothes on my back.. just get me the fuck out of soviet america to some place i could live like a god forever.

  • He didn't put the money in there!!! The bank did. The bank should be charged with grand larceny! A bank is a private company why the hell don't they get in trouble for their mistakes?

  • NICE TO KNOW THERE ARE SO MANY DIRTBAG THIEVES NO WONDER OBAMA GOT ELECTED.WHAT A BUCH OF LOSERS TRY GOING OUT AND EARNING YOUR OWN MONEY.

  • I'd put all that shit in a bank in the grand cayman islands, change my name, move out the country, and invest in a business overseas.

  • This happened with my mom but only with $500 bucks. She got charges from taking the money but honestly didnt notice it in there. Spent it over a few months time

  • Fuck yeah, take it out, andhire a great lawyer! ha ha!

  • Anyone who say's they wouldn't touch it is is a bit fat LAIR, they are lying to others and they are lying to themselves.

  • @Razieli812 i wouldnt. and im not lying. i just proved your theory wrong. i learned in middle school how much trouble you can get in for this exact thing. guess they dont teach that at your school.

  • @TheEeaston No, you didn't. You're just lying to yourself, that or trying to take the 'moral high road'. But dude, you suddenly have 2 million added, you may not touch the two million but you will try to at least make interest on it, and that's making use of it. If you still deny it, then you are probably a person who naively says they will take the high road all the time.

  • @Razieli812 yes, i did. way to talk about someone you dont know. i dont always take the high road. but unlike you we arent all criminals out there. you are an idiot if you think thats not stealing. i didnt have to be taught that it is, its just common sense, its not your money. sorry im one of those hard working americans who EARNS and spends HIS money the right way. im guessing you are a black american in a low income community probably on some type of welfare. im sorry for you.

  • @TheEeaston You're a dick, enough said.

  • why not

  • you mean the money thats in MY bank account .....

if my money went to the wrong acount...please use it wisely ...lol caz i would !:P

  • this guy should have gone to mexico

  • yo the host sounds like hes drunk half the time

  • i would leave the country the same second i saw the amount of money

  • HELL YES!!!!

  • HELL NO...

  • Or spend the first few thousand on a good lawyer...

  • i would spend the shit out of it! live it up till its gone or i get caught.

  • If anyone should go to jail, it should be the bank teller who transfered the money. Even still, it was a simple mistake and could be easily corrected. Who is the screwed up judge who thinks that this man is anyway responsible for what happened?! Sure he maybe could have just kept it there and waited instead of spending it, but if you have to give any blame on him, make him pay the money back instead of waste 25 years of his life in jail for something he didnt do.

  • Banks fault, bank is at fault

  • fuck that! id spend it! fuck the bank, there rich! let the guy go! he did wat anyone would do! :P

  • I would take it and invest every last dollar in the lottery! :D multiply my chances of winning more money by 2 million! it's the greatest idea EVER!

  • goes to show how the bank should probably know how to do their fucking job. even though it was a telemarketer that put it in the wrong account. the bank should have known that this guy that makes lets say 40,000 a year all the sudden over night has 2 mil in his account, you would think they would have red flags goin off. god damn, i cashed my social security check for 1,400 and the cops got called to the bank cuz they thought it was a fake check, and this didnt get checked twice??? wtf

  • @tombeals69 she made a mistake when she said telemarketer she meant to say teller

  • shit the fuck yea

  • haha thats technically his money, i mean wtf how can they take his ass to jail

its their mistake so therefor his money

  • I would be on the next plane to around the world

  • Withdraw it all, hide it well, file for identity theft, spend cash in tiny increments. That's how I fucking play the game.

  • everyone who says they would turn in the money is a Hippocrit, you whould totally spend it just like every one else

  • That's someone else's money, put into his account OBVIOUSLY by accident. If 2 mil all of a sudden shows up, you know it doesn't belong there. You don't spend it, that IS stealing. He shouldn't get 25 years, but he should get some sort of punishment for being a greedy jerk instead of reporting the error.

It's like finding a wallet on the ground. Do you spend all the cash inside? Or do you give it to the police?

  • @fudawg45 No dude, money has no name, no id. If you found a suitcase with 2million dollars at your doorstep what would you do? Ask the neighbour if it's his or take it?

It's not stealing, I don't know where you get that idea. If I lose 10 bucks and you find them, it's your fault or mine?

Oh by the way, if you ever find 2 million dollars, they are mine! I dropped them. ;)

  • @kriptonis

If I found a suitcase with 2 million dollars in it at my doorstep I would take it to the police. It's either someone else's money, or it's stolen. Either way, it's obviously not mine, and therefore is not mine to spend.

  • @fudawg45 you`re corny it could be just a blessing to you or some good karma u dummy

  • @cherisseshaw

Because each of these deserves an individual response. lol

I am corny, I've always been corny. Even if it is just good karma coming my way, then I guess I get even more good karma by returning it, don't I?

  • @fudawg45 yea and u are probally broke as we speak

  • @cherisseshaw

I'm actually quite comfortable. I'll be even more comfortable in a few years.

  • @fudawg45 stop trying to be holier than thou

  • @cherisseshaw

It's not being holier than thou, it's just doing the right thing. If you lost a bunch of money and I found it, would you complain when I returned it to you?

  • @fudawg45 I I get it you must not deserve any good karma now i get it

  • @cherisseshaw

Why would I not deserve good karma for doing the right thing?

  • @fudawg45 oh shut up you`re probally at home jerking off to kiddy porn right now

  • @cherisseshaw

You were (almost) perfectly reasonable until this post. Thanks for showing your true character.

  • Just because hes been detained and accused doesnt mean hes going to be convicted. Hes going to be proven innocent, they just have to arrest him otherwise our legal system wouldnt be doing its job. Like it or not, thats just how it works.

  • he wont go to jail cause he was set up. Its what is known as entrapment!

But u do never know, There are millions of people right now in prison that are as innocent as the rest of us which is not saying much. Just another infringement on the rights of free individuals. Its really nothing new and will only get worse as the resorces of the world deminish.

  • he should have inquired before spending some of them

  • @spock431 why? Can't he think some generous rich guy decided to give him a bonus? That's what I would think. I deserve it!

  • Take it all out, shift it to another account and fly somewhere with no extradition treaties, like Brazil.
