Nice vid, quick question for all you hdr peeps, ive trid this with a few photos, my hdr image comes up really bright with a horrible purple and green colour spots on it, is this because original pgoto's werent exposed very well?
Yeah, I'm behind everyone else. A lot of crap filters into YouTube, but this is a quality piece that I learned a lot from. Thanks for the intro brother!
very good tutorial, but everytime i try merging my images it says something about me using different cameras for the images, and then when i press ok and automate the entire thing, the entire pic becomes really sharp.
Out of many of the commentries on HDR I strongly believe that this has to be one of the most informative and understanding video videos I have seen to date.
@peakbusiness you're kind of right, but you can still do your hdr in 16 bit mode--then when you're ready to save it as jpeg, you would go to image>>mode>>8bit
Excellent and easy to understand tutorial. It was nice to see HDR planned and done correctly with several images instead of the normal " rescue a picture" techniques.
it's definitely included with photoshop. in bridge, find the picture that you want and right click it and select open in raw, and you will get the dialog that you see in the video
Very Good, informative tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to share this.

Just followed all of these but on CS4 you need to reduce the depth to 8 bit otherwise you can not save as jpg.
Not sure if this is also true of CS3.
Still very pleased and this tutorial taught me plenty.

Thanks for this. I was doing some things right but not getting the results I was after.
Nice steady pace - no silly music - just an easy to follow tutorial.
Like Snapperglen says - good to see it planned instead of as a last resort to rescue a bad shot.

he is using Adobe Camera Raw which is a plugin for Photoshop so you can work with RAW files. You can get the plugin from Adobe's website.
