Looks & sounds very decent @ $499US +-(MIDi,USB, Stereo In/Out), I guess only the Casio PX-330 is better featured with 250 sounds & 2 pairs of Ins/Outs..SD Card Reader, 16-track sequencer..2 Headphones Outs. @ $699 US. that's $200 bucks more... If you don't need the 16-track sequencer..or Sd card reader or 200 ++ sounds.. I guess the Cadenza is a good Midi DAW plus Live Performer , With Audio Stereo outs, and @ $499..it should put the Yamaha P95 ($549) to the backseat.
Hmm, I'm not too sure about this, half of the other tones, sound terrible and so far only the original and that last tone sound decent...I don't know, sounds like an upgraded synth
Out of curiosity. The more important thing to me is the FEEL rather than the sounds. I want to get back into my classical studies, like Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and was wondering how you would rank the feel of the Alesis Cadenza? Do yout think this would be great for building back up my dexterity and strength in my fingers? I have TONS of high quality/pro piano sample libraries that I can trigger from my DAW using the Cadenza as a controller if necessary. But the FEEL is what I need the most.
just bought it and its great, at first the sound quality from this video was awful but after hearing it live, its awesome, definitely recommend this keyboard. its awesome.
The piano sounds like it came from that infernal 8bit 'toinking' Korg m1, and everything else is muffled, and unnatural sounding to my ears. I'll have to test drive one to be sure, but I'm thinking casio has no comoetition here.
@NathanBLawrence sounds to me like Debussy, don't know for sure though. The end sounds like "La Catedrale Engloutie" for a second so i'm basing my assumption on that, haha.
It must be some kind of joke. This piano sounds horrible. Dear God, even Casio CDP-100 sounds better than this. I only hope it's just because of YT audio quality.
It's been too long since Alesis brought forth a full on keyboard synth. I wasn't a fan of the Micron, but the Quadrasynth series? Magic... if the Cadenza is anything like the QS (with a few features taken out I imagine...) then I'm more than certain this piece will be added into my harmonic ensemble-- YYYES!
