as a life long Marvel boy its sad to see Marvel answer DC's New 52 with a cynical fist fight. Don't fall for all the marketing hoopla - its all basically a big sandbox fight. Thor is a definite Avenger, but putting him against the X-men might no be fair, I mean when have you ever heard Wolverine, Cyclops or Storm taking Thor on and winning? To balance things out, they might keep Thor out of it. As for the Hulk, he's probably showing up, him vs. Colossus and/or a bunch of X-men is likely.

This was the birth of the "New" Avengers team/title. This was before Caps death and the Civil War. He has had a stint with the the New Avengers AND his X-teams ever since.
