  • Guys this guy is amazing! Making biology understandable with a slight touch of humour - He has never timed how long it takes for a blood cell (i think it was) to go all around the body.

SO much better then being stuck in the lab having no idea whats going on

  • complicated but helpfull

  • Excellent presentation. Thanks!!

  • Lool at when he said ''In the left atrium the bud is entering'' at 08.06 and then he laughed xD!

  • This video was amazing.

It was like the rosetta stone for body systems.

    It's so clear to understand!

  • this guy..... is the freaken best

  • QWOP

  • YEAH DUDE HAHA

  • teach mcat!!

  • Yeahh its the same thing

  • is atrium and auricle the same??

  • @ezbg yea same thing n if u wanna go in detail then go for biology books.

  • the hell?! what's this about

  • @hikerdude4000 wat thing u didnt understand in this video dude?so simple lucid language

  • @Jokuim yes i've wondered the same thing, and according to wikipedia, my books and so on, I'm pretty sure that the blue blood vesels are veins and the red ones are arteries, so @khanacademy , please add notation on the video.

  • isn't it ARTERIES that goes from the pulmonary system to

    the left ventreis????

  • This video is very helpful, but i often lose track of the pointer..

  • good video, here is the 3d representation of the circulatory system, i think you will like it! watch?v=jcKoeSPoqUM or go to anatronica(dot)com

  • Thanks man great video, really helpful and I understand everything for my end of the year exam tomorrow!!! Thank you so much!!!

  • Your vids are great. Cheers bud

  • i thought artery contains oxygenated blood

    and veins contains deoxygenated blood....

  • @nexychoco and it does except the pulmonary ones. it's because of the size, if you notice the blood vessel that goes to the lungs it's bigger than the one that comes back from the lungs to the heart. So, bigger --> more pressure --> artery.

I think this is the explanation.

  • Wait why does the heart have 4 pulmenary veins? I mean it only has 2 pulmenary arteries for the 2 Lunghafs, but why 4 pulmenary veins?

  • who is this guy?! he's amazing! haha

  • Comment removed

  • The heart pumps blood that carries oxygen around the body. If the heart becomes damaged, it will have difficulty pumping blood.

  • Thx homey

  • Thanks alot for your help! you go in so much detail, which is really helpful

  • 4 people don't have hearts

  • your video saved my exam. Seriously my teachers an idiot and doesnt know how to teach this stuff and your video in four minutes explained what he couldnt teach in five months. Thank you so so much!

  • dude ur better than my teacher at skool , u just explained this shit in a few min while teahcers at skool kudnt explain to me in a week thnx man

  • Omg !!! Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart and veins carries blood from the tissues towards the heart

  • this is excelent. NOW I KNOW EVERYTHING!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • veins are deoxygenated

    and artery are oxygenated

    you got it mixed up...

  • @JESUSacoustic veins are centripet and arteries are centrifugue

  • @JESUSacoustic This is wrong. A classic mistake. Much better you think of Arteries taking blood away from the heart and Veins returning blood to the heart. Don't believe me? Consider the Pulmonary artery!

  • @JESUSacoustic no buddy he did not get it mixed up... arteries carry oxygenated blood except pulmonary artery and veins carry deoxygenated blood except pulmonary vein

  • @JESUSacoustic

Pulmonary Artery carries deoxygenated blood then it goes to the lungs to get oxygens so it'd be oxygenated afterwards it goes back to the heart through Pulmonary Vein, that means Pulmonary Vein carries Oxygenated blood.

He said it clearly on this vid. And he didn't get it mixed up.

  • ILOVE YOU

  • Very good video, are you a doctor?

  • Namaste Sal

Shukruaya, App To Bahoodh Acha Hai.

    Wishing you health & happiness

    Ten

  • @tenshady Namaste is for hindus, he's Muslim. so basically. you fail.

  • @MonaRocks09 it is just a greeting... saying hi or hello does not mean someone has to be a christian.......

  • @MonaRocks09 He's a Muslim? I never knew that!

  • I always wondered how that worked - thanks !

  • Great. It really works... painting/writing and explaining in real time. Otherwise it would be a screen-captured, commented Power-Point-Movie... means a pseudo sophisticated way to explain nothing and distract people from the content with the pseudo-ability to program things and send them into coma - no matter the subject.

Your way to "present" should be spread around the world - from schools to offices to...

    Keep on going.

  • this is very helpful because you don't see a lot of videos about biology on the internet. Actually .. i've never seen biology videos outside of your channel.

  • Thanks
