I've said it here before and I'll say it again - Pink Chaddi campaign was bogus: 1) Many English educated but pro Jehadi and pro Missionary elements used it to deride Hinduism and Hindus (as if women are treated better by conservative Islamists) (2) The campaign was a hate reaction/ campaign, aimed at insulting NOT just perpetrators but also general people with traditional mindset and middle class values.

its a fact that women who drink alcohol has a weak mind. Drinking alcohol is not good for ppls health. west should stay out of this. In west there is a huge problem withy kids drinking themself in to coma. and its spreading everywhere. Ok went wrong by using violence against the women. thats not what we teach in india.

I agree drinking is bad. So is cigarettes and so it eating too much. Can you go and beat up a fat guy for eating too much. You can educate the people on the bad effects of alcohol but not go beat them up. Also it is a shame men going and beating up women. Alcohol is bad for anyone. You stink of the evils 19th century British Raj. I am pretty good with "English" and live a life full of luxuries however I fail to see the reason for any pride in all that. I accept that I share a nation and culture with the uneducated poor people of my country. If they are wrong, which they are inclined to be due to their condition, hating them is not the solution. Educating them and involving them in the economic engine is the only way to get their minds off such extremist actions.

If you are interested my offshore clients don't want to talk to a South Indian (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam) or Bengali employee as they suffer headaches because of their accents. They tolerate us because we are cheaper to hire not better. Go and ask your top level managers, what you are getting today is not because of your "oh so good English". It has taken years of hard work of many a politicians, bureaucrats and industrialists.

What the Sri Ram Sena did has shamed all true Hindus who love Ram. Ramayan and Mahabharat both teach us to respect woman and warn of the consequences if one fails to do so. However the counter offensive against these people has been equally shameful. We are trying to stand for the freedom and respect of Indian Women against those who probably think of them as sexual objects.
