Barracuda are the most ugliest and boring fish to look at ever and as scary as a dose of the hiccups, but this film makes them look hard, dangerous and vicious.
The acting is so bad the fake fish seem to pull it off better than the actors, still rather see a film called Bacardi about a killer spirit bottle which can kill you after 25 shots in a glass.
@womblediehard Then you have no idea about ocean life you ignoramus. I witnessed Barracuda attacks fishing in the Keys. I would one that jumped into my boat almost severing my best friends wrist then attacking others while were trying to subdue it. My friend almost died from the attack and had to be air lifted to the hospital by the Coast Guard. Barracudas are very agressive and had attacked numerous people here in the keys while swimming and fishing at reefs, etc.

it looks like a sardine, im not saying i would like to meet one, but it hardly looks big and menacing like jaws or all his other monster mates from giant octopus to prehistoric fish, it has no menace.
It was...weird thing is that another JAWS ripoff, a cool flick called TINTORERA was made by some of the same folks involved with SURVIVE (the Mexican version of the same event covered years later by the people behind ALIVE)
A Movie I Haven't Seen In A Very Long Time. To Bad It Isn't Available On DVD In Germany Yet, Cause I Love "Nature Strikes Back"-Horror Movies. Most Of Them Are B-Movies, But Awesome Nonetheless.
