i was realy disappointed with this collection!!! i only bought young punk and gilt by association i think there really nice ontop of a black base wet so im glad with my purchase but the lipsticks and the lipglasses were notnice and appealing at all... lipglasses were the worst looks like ur lips are dirty !!!! but im cnt wait for the holiday collection aleady got the pallettes in the magic mirth and mischief but cant wait for the sets in the mischief makers !!!!!! I STILLL LOOOOVVVVVEEE MAC!!!

the eyeshadows are very sheer and no color payoff whatsoever unless applied over the ccb Black or the greasestick... i passed on this entire collection, was disappointed .. wanted a lot more

I'm so sad that you rated the mineralize eyeshadows as B-. I love and trust your rating system more than anyone else. I've been following Temptalia for so long that most of the time, your reviews hit the nail on the head. At least I know that I can totally pass up on the eyeshadows even if I secretly wanted them. B- is not good enough in my book. LOL!

I am so excited about this collection! I'm really excited about the lipgloss and lipsticks. I haven't worn black lipgloss since my goth days. The swatches came out really well

I'm soooo looking forward to this collection! The nail polishes are my fave. too! The glimmerglasses look really pretty in the tube, but kinda look lame on the lips. Not any color payoff at all! I'm getting my makeup done for this collection and am anxious to try Night Violet out. Yay! Thanks for the reviews/pictures!

is it me or does mac lippys not go on properly this isnt the first vid ive seen where the lippys dont seem to blend and go into the lips it just lays on the top. eyeshadows and liners are great though xx

I'm glad you did this because the products I wanted...I no long want. Those mineralized shadows weren't what I thought they were going to be after you swatched them...neither were the glimmerglasses. I would get the black lipstick but I already have MACs black lipmix so there's no need. I guess I'm get a couple black ash exfoliators and call it a day

Some of the dark lip colors (especially the black gloss) looks like they go on really unevenly. Is it just in the photos that the products appear that way or do they go on splotchy?

IMO, they go on pretty splotchy/uneven if you apply straight from the tube. If you apply with a lip brush, it'll be easier, BUT Black Knight is extremely glossy/creamy which adds to why it applies unevenly. I always use products the way the average person would (e.g. straight from the tube), because IMO, lip lining, applying with a lip brush, etc. aren't always necessary & important to note if they're musts or not!

the volcanic ash exfoliater ive read reviews on and sounds amazing...however a lot of these colors particularly the black lipsticks dissapoint me very much.
