  • sq 126 in tha house

  • they are out of step :(

  • dude, what? i LOVE CAP, but seriously, if you want to make others want to join, make a more serious video.

  • Is this supposed to be funny?

  • Ahhhh...the joy of DF gear. *Sets up DF* *Pounds DF until hears an annoying sound*

  • Will there be a problem if I join at 16 or 17?

  • Not necessarily, but you will have to join the senior member portion of CAP at 21. You probably won't reach the highest ranking, but you'll get the same experience nonetheless.

  • Ha I think I have met some of these cadets.

  • What squadron are you in?

  • @KnUpRoX Jackson Composite ms-100

    You Major Casey?

  • @KnUpRoX not but he is in the squadron. I moved, and am no longer in CAP.

  • @Memphian72 Should I join? I am 13.. I am not like the best at sports but I love military and want to try. I asked my PE teacher what I should do to get more built for this so im not huffing and puffing and he said just do a bunch of pushups.. whats your advice to get built? (what exersizes do you do)

  • I think this would be an excellent program

  • My daughter wants to join the military but she's barely 13, I'm thinking of asking if she would consider CAP or NLSC, it's too bad there isn't an installation or group anywhere near my area, the closest is in Arizona.

  • Im a C/TSgt in CAP and ive been in it for 3 years and LOVE it. I would defintly recomend it. DO IT

  • same!

  • Im a C/Tsgt in CAP and I started when i was 13, and I LOVE it, I highly recomend joining.

  • that was pretty epic when the ground team jumps out of the van :)

  • Thanks. We try to be awesome haha.

  • CAP is ALWAYS awesome!

  • gah! lines!!! 0:36

  • Whats the song after the first song called, the one with the gutar solo

  • Thunderstruck, by AC/DC

  • I really want to join but I want to know how hard is it? I don't know if I could do all the physical parts.

  • It's really not that physical. The only 'hardcore' thing about it is encampment, which isn't too bad. Encampment is like bootcamp but CAP style.

  • thank you so much thats all i wanted to know

  • What do I need to do next. I live in Tupelo Ms.

  • I believe Tupelo has a squadron. I was in the Olive Branch Squadron. Search google for Civil Air Patrol and go to their website.

  • Ok thank you

  • 45 cadets in our squadron, ill upload a video pretty soon of my cadets.

    toodles,

    C/MSgt Tedder

  • 35, used to be 200. MER-MD-031

  • keyword: draft :-)

  • what exactley do you pepole do just wondering this is the first time ive ever heard of cap

  • CAP is an auxiliary branch of the air force and it helps with search and rescues, cadet programs, and aerospace education...for teens 12-21

join its a really great experiance

  • my squadrons so small we have a seargant

    as the flight commander

  • same here haha

  • Yea I am the flight commander and im just a sgt. Its pretty wierd because next to me we have a staff sergeant and a bunch of airmen so we have a pretty bottom-heavy squadron and only 4 people have been to one encampment and ive been on staff at a encampment already as a flt. sgt. Also half the cadets are barely interested but we do have a really good few that help out so much.

  • Wow, this is my squadron, and that is half of the people that normally show up, but congrats all on being so cool and letting us know how awesome you are. peace out

  • who is this?

  • My composite Squadron has about 10-15 cadets and 20 sm that come out every week.

  • You all have small sq

my sq has about 150 cadets and we had to make it into 3 different sq

  • Wow thats big- in my composite squadron we have about 12 cadets and 18 sr. members- im the CC and im only a C/SSgt.

    Sgt. Brokaw NCR-NE-094

  • Wow small squadron. Not Necessarily bad but you need to encourage recruitment more. We have about 60+ cadets and a whole bunch of civilians poured in. I talked with so many civilians that day lol.

    C/Ab Nguyen

    Georgia Wing

  • Uh... thats not even half of our squadron. we have about 15-16 cadets.

  • oh ok well are you going to encampment this summer?

  • i actually went last summer. it was a blast.

  • looks like a small squadron, ours was small just like that, now we are at about 12 cadets, and still growing. good to see kids getting interested in something other than vid games.

  • well thats not even half of what we have. we have 2 8 person flights so about 16 people in our squadron. we have the most in mississippi.

  • our suadron is the only squadron in minnesota to have a electroinic 1 of the elt finders lol i paid for it cadet col. scott

  • what do u get to fly in c.a.p.

  • cessna 172 or 182 depending on the squadron.

  • alright thanks. tHe guy in the beginning is like what the hell!!??

  • what is the device that he using and what does it do

  • It is called an L-per. It locates devices called ELTs located in an airplane that activate when the airplane crashes. The "find" was an practice ELT that we were using for training.

  • awesome thanks.

  • no problem. go to cap dot gov for more info about joining if you are interested.

  • Just to let you know, they're now distributing Cessna 206's (six seater)... I'm from Squadron 904 in PA Wing, and we have a Maule 235 Super Rocket (4 seat) that we use for glider towing, and we also have a Cessna 182 Sky Lane and 2 Cessna 206 Super Sky Lanes... Pretty awesome stuff. I almost wish we had Cessna 172 Sky Hawk, because they're good for O-Flights. I flew 3 O-Flights in the Maule. A picture of it is in a slide show on my channel... check it out...
