I got to see Jorge Morel play in New York City this past summer. Great guy, great musician. His one flaw is his tone quality, but like someone else said, his musical taste is amazing, and I love his style.

I think that makes it a unique signature of his...his tone. Its not traditional "have-to-sound-crystal-clear" classical baroque, its folky brazilian. try to look at it in a cultural perspective, what the natives would sound like. Hence, he has accomplished a +1 in style, taking it a tone further. beautifully accomplished if you ask me
