  • seriously good video, thanks

  • Interesting how they don't translate the last three words that the last woman speaks. "despues de ese." Meaning, "after this." She is saying there needs to be "another message after this one." It makes a pretty big difference whether you say "there needs to be another message" or "another message after this one." She's actually asking for a sequel. Uh oh. :)

  • PRI Rocks !!!

  • STOP the XINGU DAM!

  • Blanca Chancoso - Kitchwa, you are the real seer in this video. After seeing only the trailers for Avatar, it appears to me that the movie is a war movie to sell to war and thriller junkies. You are right that we need dialog and not more destruction and war. We should all be asking and verifying where the profits from the movie go.

  • @gregjalbert While Avatar does have plenty of fighting , what is not well known because it happens before the time line of the film is the fact the Na'Vi "did" attempt plenty of dialogue with the humans they even had a school that was there to help teach them english this is greatly improved in the directors cut of the film as we get to see this , and jake asks "what happened here"? Cameron has taken constructive critisum about this and "will" make changes in future films.

  • If i could give it 100 stars i would. Thank you so much for posting. ♥ Nan

  • 5 AVASTARS FOR YOU!

  • Yes, we need to protect our rain forest, for people like Correa.

....Arriba Ecuador!

    Socialismo y el Comunismo abajo

  • the movie really show the reality of people who are suppressed by imperialism and corruption

  • this is (in my opinion) the best movie ever made, hands down. seriously, it's amazing.

  • Seriously? And how old are you? It was absolutely beautiful and entertaining, I'll give you that, but best movie ever made? Good God, you need to see more movies.

  • well just to clarify, i still have a month to turn 18. it's on my channel. you should check it out sometime. it rocks. really. anyway yeah that's why i said "in my opinion". and yes i have seen a ton of movies. so what, in your opinion, is the best movie ever made? because for me obviously there has been nothing that tops avatar. everybody has to have their favorites.

  • What language do they speak?

  • @weysst spanish lol

  • That's what I thought.

  • I agree with the lady at the end; less war, more dialogue.

  • Yes, in real life. But if there was no war in the movie the movie wouldn't be as great.

  • @weysst That maybe so, but can you honestly say that a giant military with tanks, helicopters, and giant robots could be easily defeated by blue people who carry nothing but bows and arrows? Its like how the Empire in Star Wars get taken down by Ewoks; its just silly.

  • I never said anything about it being realistic--it's a sci-fi movie.

  • The indigenous would be fighting on a plain far more influential than the one with tanks and guns, and are stronger in that realm as well. Believe me...

  • @AlbinoTanuki Well its a movie, and i doubt people, including myself, would pay to see dialogue.

  • @AlbinoTanuki Hey, I respect what you are getting at, but the lady is suggesting that there is no dialogue between the opposing sides in the film. Unfortunately, she missed the fact that Jake and Grace were attempting dialogue between the two sides, but the extremes of the opposing sides wouldn't listen. Despite attempts at dialogue, the worst-case-scenario situation comes to realization. It's a warning. It's also a movie, and it needed the fight to escalate the story: good guys win, end, yay.

  • @AlbinoTanuki I agree with the lady also especially reagrding real life situations. However to propose the worst scenario in a film wakes people up and makes them think before its to late (western peoples and corporations especially) . Most people do not appreciate what they have until it is gone so to create a destructive story allows for people to see the worst possible outcome so they can work that little bit harder to make less war in real life if that makes sense :)

  • Having just returned from Equador and spending time with the Achuar tribe in the Amazon Rain Forest I was amazed at the similarities between this movie and reality. I hope that this message (Avatar) will serve as more than just great entertainment and cause us to get curious about some of the choices we make and the impact they have. It is time for us to change the dream before we no longer have the option to do so. Thanks for capturing this story.

  • Thank you for upload.

  • Excellent. Thank you Pachamama.

  • thank you to PRI the World! this is an excellent piece - reflections on how they can relate, and how unfortunate it is for a white guy to be saviour, and that it takes war to get it done.

  • This is awesome. Great idea for a story! Beautiful.
