Love the Arcade Fire, and I appreciate the instrumentation in this version of the song, but Stephin Merritt's vocal cannot be topped.

The original is much, much better especially with this gurgling crap voice on this cover. This is just strumming and singing half assed. No cello, no synth, repugnant voice all adds up to an awful imitation.

There is also an effect that slows down the video by half ..to string out the footage ..I used it on the other train video..John

Train Journey with Music added using Windows movie maker to show some simple effects that can be used using this easy to use program..Camera was a Fuji A340 which I have since replaced with an F20 so quality should improve a little for the next..nb The black and white effect doesn't work too well in the program but it is still a handy freebie if you don't have the cash for a movie program..
