  • Outstanding and timeless.

  • Punched Angela Lansbury........ Love it.

  • I can see where Florence Welch got her 'style' from now...

  • A gifted host, a very strong TV presence and connection with his audience...cruelly dumped by a gutless BBC. One series was far, far too early to call a halt on somebody who was invigorating the chatshow format...many of his set pieces (like the photocopier) and his ability to ad-lib when it doesn't go to plan are inspired.

  • coogan is a genius!

  • Love Rebecca Front!

  • nice little feature

  • Copper kettles and cats ! Fucking classic, Alan I love u

  • I think Gary is supposed to be a bit like Gary Oldman or Tim Roth, or possibly Sean Penn (except English) although I have no idea which actresses are the inspiration for Tanya (who looks a bit weird with that frumpy hair and dress)

  • "Has he ever thrown a copper kettle at you?"

"No, it's one of the few things he's never thrown at me."

    "...Really...?"

    "--Joke."

    LOL

  • Rebecca Front is a Goddess!

  • @gullivera She is strangely attractive in this (despite the wigs and stuff she has to wear). Of course she was only about 30 at this time.

  • PAHAHAHAHAH

  • Ahaa...Nrrrrr

    lmao

  • Partridge is the second bast comedy character ever, after Basil.

  • "Taaaanya's breeeasts!"

  • Alan nails the hollywood star!

  • How come they have dubbed Angela Lansbury on? Did Jessica Tandy die?

  • thats what I thought where is jessica tandy

  • @Triplesod Yeah Jessica Tandy died shortly after this was made. It's still Jessica Tandy on the original video but was changed when it was repeated on TV

  • @markypearson01 They cut quite a lot from this skit when broadcast - including the crucial part at the end when Tanya breaks Gary's glasses, and the discussion afterwards.

  • @markypearson01 apparently the other cuts to the episode were for time, as each full length episode of KMKYWAP (as shown on the DVDs) runs to about 33-35 minutes.

  • @zionravescene The uncut episodes do feel a bit overlong at times. They were probably right to trim them down a bit for TV.

  • @Triplesod yeah, I was about to ask the same shit...wtf?

  • "Punched Angela Lansbury."

  • "I don't do that shit anymore!" haha

  • David Schneider- also on The Day Today, Friday Night Armistice and various other things.

  • Gary's lines..."That's no guarantee"; "Nice little feature" (which I still use compulsively when my girfriend shows off new iPod etc...top episode.

  • haha mentalist

  • any more of this? :D

  • Yes there will be more, all in good time.

  • Great, many thanks
