@thefatass500 This is the end. It took him 4 rounds to get this far (Elder dragons flee if you damage them past a certain point) Not to mention fatalis can one hit you in most armors if you don't upgrade (Most gunner armor is a one hit anyways) 1 error and you're dead

@ukanlos71 Personally, I prefer the TrueBlkDrgnGL (for cosmetic reasons). World's End is a decent GL too, the major difference is the Long shots instead of Spread, and the absence of negative affinity iirc. If you were to employ my strategy of GL-ing White Fatty, WE is a better GL for non-armor mode White since it has a longer reach (my second shell when I'm doing the uppercut tend to miss with Spread). Spread is better for armor mode since it hits harder. :)

@racoiaws2009 I'll suggest the Lance. Gunlances take way too long to kill most G-ranked monsters, with the exception of Fatalises. Still, if your friend don't mind taking some extra time hunting, go with the GL. Imo, the shelling is a pretty cool visually. :)

mAn! ur really good w/ a gunlance.. im good at a lance to but not that good.. i wish i can learn how to use a gunlance.. but when i use a gunlance im terribly slow.. but compared to a lance i can dodge sum attacks.. im a hammer user though.. thats y i cant hardly use the shield on my gunlance.. i usually dodge attacks rather than being hit.. but i can guard an attacks when needed.. i cant even chain a combo on a gunlance.. but this video gave me sum techniques.. xD tnx a lot pal!!

@randomloverofcheese Oh nope. They will flee by the 25th minute mark if their health is low enough. Normally though, you'll kill it by the 3rd or 4th round. :)

Try watching my Crimson Fatalis GL Guide. I specifically highlighted the ways to shell Crimson in armor mode, the same can be applied to White as well. :)

Yup. It is the Hr9 Fatalis. If you hit the head, it's weakest area, you don't need purple sharpness to prevent boucing. Even green sharpness will do. When it enters armor mode, you can shell. And shelling does a fixed amount of dmg no matter it hits, thus overcoming the 'bouncing' problem. :)

Kill the black fatalis and iirc, you need to kill 5 of every Elder Dragons and at least one of each Hr9 Elder Dragons (while clearing all E.D. maps). After killing Crimson, White should be available. I'm not sure if I'm right about this tho'. Best to ask on Gamefaqs. Or Minegarde. Or check the FAQs.

Why not try GS-ing them? I have seperate videos of me doing GS runs (some of them naked) for each monster. Rathalos, TIgrex, Narga and Rajang. :)

Frankly, I haven't tried LS-ing any of the monsters in that quest, save for Tigrex and the occasional Rajang. But yes, it is possible. I would suggest a good raw LS for that. The copper Blagonga LS / Akantor LS / Nargacuga LS / any other decent raw ones should work. :)

Good news just unlocked crimson fatalis, I repeated G*** Elder Drangons I think you had to clear them twice i only cleared them once, so now i'll slay crimson and this should unlock white fatalis, thanks for all your help :)

Fatalis wings ! Use either a bow or a bowgun and stay at its right ( ur left ). Keep a constant stream of dmg on the wings. Should break in 15-20min. :D

Anything that has a good clip of FireS should work ! Just invest as much firepower as you can , like getting NormalSUp , LoadUp and / or ElementAttackUp. The Luna HBG is not bad. ;) Also , get power barrel instead of a shield. :D

And bombs to help shorten the fight.
