I was waiting for Edge to get re-injured. I was surprised he hadn't before this tear. Edge, by far, puts his body on the line a lot more and pushes himself in his matches harder than anyone else in WWE. Just my opinion.
They could have a tag team match at night of champions and then edge doesnt show up and chris jericho fights alone...then when he returns he could have a run at being face and feud with jericho or something..and then christian could come into the storyline.
I am still in awe that McNair was Murdered. I am a Bills fan but I respected the hell out of him, him and I had the same mindset, we might have never been cleared to practice, but we sure delivered on game day. He was awesome, simply put.
As for Edge. that injury sucks royally, my dad had it, he was laid up for 9 months. I could definitely see edge to return as a baby face ala Triple H, have his return at Air Canada Centre and push him to the moon as a face and have him ham up the home crowd.
I wish Taker and Matt Hardy could return to Smackdown right now. Jericho could feud with Taker and Matt Hardy could be added into Jeff's current storyline. I just hope they don't put the tag team titles on both Jeff and CM Punk, given how we've seen something like this many times already.

I think that Smackdown can bounce back from this. While Edge's injury is a big loss, as you said it could create greater oppertunities for other superstars such as John Morrison. I just wish that superstars such as Shelton Benjaman, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston and Vladimir Koslov were on the Smackdown roster to benifit from the possible space freed up by Edge's predicament. I would have liked to see where the Jerich Edge tag team was going though.
Edge is awesome, I hope he gets well soon, and to return as a face besides Christian (With some storylining). Edge is a major guy for the WWE and he will be missed. Remember last year coming back to earn the WWE title? Even though he was a heel, the crowd went crazy!! Imagine him to return as a face!!
tough call honestly. don't forget about the new presence of the Hart Dynasty on Smackdown. not that they will get nor deserve the tag titles at this moment, but it is an out for the WWE if they want to keep the belts on a smackdown roster pairing. but this could be Legacy's golden moment, regardless it will be interesting to see how the WWE fixes the problem that is caused by this tragic news.

I wish Taker and Matt Hardy could return to Smackdown right now. Jericho could feud with Taker and Matt Hardy could be added into Jeff's current storyline. I just hope they don't put the tag team titles on both Jeff and CM Punk, given how we've seen something like this many times already.

if the wwe were smart they would finally start to use Christian in the right way by taking him off ecw at last!& putting him on smackdown to fill in where Edge is now going to be missing!

As an EdgeHead im pissed. this Couldnt have happened @ a worse time. Wwe Needs Him and without smackdown is gonna need the John Morrisons, Dolph Zigglers, Kanes and Jeff Hardys & Jerichos and Move Crappy wrestlers Like Cm Punk down to Ic Caliber because hes a terrible champion.

With Edge, Undertaker, HBK, Batista out with injury's and Jeff Hardy with only a few weeks left on his contract plus Kurt Angle resigning with TNA I just wonder if the wwe regret there decisions to get rid of Kennedy and Umanga.
Hopefully wwe puts Christian on Smackdown soon and pushes Cm punk.

I'm going to see a smackdown show in september and was looking forward to seeing jericho and edge. Really pissed that I'm not going to see one of my favourites, not just at the show, but for nearly a year!

Steve McNair..... Steve McNair DEAD?! I still remember this guy helped get the Tenneesse Tians get off the ground in TN... a super bowl QB! 2003 MVP with peyton manning. He was one of TOUGHEST QB's Ive ever seen.
Man this is gonna be a damper for TN and Balt. This means a #9 will likely be on the back of the helmets on BOTH teams. I know If be having thoughts for Steve when both TN and Balt visits Foxboro to play the PATRIOTS!

they will have to step a few ppl up like from what i have been seeing cm punk might feud with john morrison because morrison beat punk on superstars and i dont think edge will come back but i dont remmember but i think rey is back on smackdown so he shuold start gettin some pushes

I think that Smackdown can bounce back from this. While Edge's injury is a big loss, as you said it could create greater oppertunities for other superstars such as John Morrison. I just wish that superstars such as Shelton Benjaman, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston and Vladimir Koslov were on the Smackdown roster to benifit from the possible space freed up by Edge's predicament. I would have liked to see where the Jerich Edge tag team was going though.

Edge is awesome, I hope he gets well soon, and to return as a face besides Christian (With some storylining). Edge is a major guy for the WWE and he will be missed. Remember last year coming back to earn the WWE title? Even though he was a heel, the crowd went crazy!! Imagine him to return as a face!!

tough call honestly. don't forget about the new presence of the Hart Dynasty on Smackdown. not that they will get nor deserve the tag titles at this moment, but it is an out for the WWE if they want to keep the belts on a smackdown roster pairing. but this could be Legacy's golden moment, regardless it will be interesting to see how the WWE fixes the problem that is caused by this tragic news.
