The deal is simple. Reggie Bush is one of the top 10 athletes to ever enter the NFL. What halted him from being great was half his fault and half the Saints. I live in New Orleans and am a proud Saints fan, but they gipped him. Reggie needed to learn how to put his fucking hat down and use his speed to run over people and the Saints needed to use him more in the slot and stop giving him BACKWARDS screen plays like when he got jacked up against Philly. He could have been wonderful. Both at fault.

I don't understand why Reggie never had 1,000 + yard seasons with the Saints? I guess Drew Brees is just too much of the offense even a back with great skill sets like Reggie couldn't do much. A team like the Dolphins that doesn't get carried by their Godly QB relies on him more. Kind of like Adrian Peterson being a complete monster w/ Femant (might be mispelled) and T. Jackson. He got B. bush will always be a saint in my heart but i will be honest ever since he left and we picked up sproles our running game has gotten a lot better. sproles is putting up better numbers and our offense is virtually unstoppable because sproles can make quicker cuts and run through tackles. but the good news is that i have no problem with the dolphins so im glad he went to a team that is using him well. Thee most overrated player in the nfl. No question. The guy has not had a 1000 yard rushing season or even 10 tds in a season. And yet somehow this guy is still on commercials all the time. I dont really understand. Awesome college player but has struggled mightily in the nfl. He shys away from contact,tries to jump over people,tries to run around people. The nfl is generally too fast for that stuff. This guy should be considered a draft bust. #2 draft pick overall needs a 1000 yd rushing season

@aron4251 My good man. You see Reggie Bush was never a featured back anywhere. Not in college where he only started 13 out of 40 games played at USC. LenDale White was the starting back. He wasn't going to be in New Orleans for they had Deuce McAllister, who you could say was New Orleans version of White. He was brought in to be a game changer, not carry the 20 times a game. And the Saints were turned into a pass first team. That is why he had so low rushing numbers. His impact was on the game.

Not productive though, see, that is where you are wrong. You can pick out vital games in which Reggie Bush was the focal point for the Saints. Reggie was traded because of injuries and the fact that he wanted to be that feature back. He is finally the main guy in the back field and will probably run for a good amount of yards this season, but where is his team going? Absolutely nowhere. He was used in N.O. exactly how they wanted him. Not because he couldn't.
