  • dshot has no dmg tho :(

  • @gorylitsky

    That is true.

  • I would use Distracting shot instead of your current interrupt. Gives also extra recharge and is fast in recharge too.

  • I liiiike :D Is there much use for Companionship though?

  • @SazzieChan

It's a cheap fast universal heal, for both you and your pet.

  • @cr9527 But you have heal as one?

  • @SazzieChan

It's for when sh*t hits the fan :)

I test this on soloing(no henchies) zen dajun, and it required 2 heals). Feel free to manipulate this to your liking.

  • @cr9527 Ahh, I understand now. xD Well, I suppose there is many ways to change it and it'd end up being a completely new build. I'm gonna try using this though. :DD

  • @SazzieChan

    Have fun!

  • Hmm let me see SoS.. MM.. HB.. and so on arent tehse the main builds athat all GW players use for everything ? Yes there are tons of skills but when there are builds that fit for any situation how does this make it different from GW2 mechanics ? Also u don't know what else might come out till the game launches... Ok whatever everyone has his own likes and dislikes. I like GW2 and i am buying it, for you i would suggest you to give it a try after all...

  • @VIDOSS123

Simple, I want to have the option to have specialized builds, GW2 gets rid of all specialized builds such as tanks, bombs, etc.

I will try GW2, for the sake of it being called guild wars. I just have very low expectations after seeing all of the demo videos.

  • LOL ! WoW is dead and GW2 is 189475 times better than it ! Also u have understood nothing of GW spirit - henchies ruined the game after all, they added henchies couse the population of the gamers lowered, it was their reaction to keep players playing GW. Real GW is prophecies the expansion that forced people to play together ! Ask everyone and they will tell you that henchies fcked up everything, everyone plays solo now. Also u havent read enough about GW2 - there will be tons of diff builds!

  • @VIDOSS123

I never liked henchies, I just liked the fact that most of the missions cannot be soloed. Something Guild wars 2 will allow.

I have done my own calculations, not only will GW2 have far less builds, they are far more restricted as your first 5 will be identical to anyone with the same weapons, one to be only heal, one to be only elite.

This only truly lets you chose some 3-4 skills in game.

  • @cr9527 I've completed Factions and EotN with henchmen and heroes only.

  • @AlegiantFireSniper

When I said solo, I mean with ONE character

  • @cr9527 In GW1 you can do millions of builds, less than 500 will be useful. In GW2 they made all possibilities viable and that increases a lot the developers' capacity to balance, which is so difficult in GW1.There may be more skills in GW2 than there was in GW Prophecies for each profession. And the weapons are not a real restriction.Seriously at the begining of GW1almost everyone played hammer warrior or sword warrior the same way because there were not enough skills and nobody complained.

  • @cr9527 The 2 games are just different. If the build is less important(easy to have a good one)the way you play it is more exigent in terms of positioning, moving and reacting. There is just more action. The build is also based on traits and swich, and some skills are chains that changes when you use it.And you can't say "only elite" everyone has one even in GW1.

I love GW1 too, but you have to recognize that some aspects of GW2 you dislike are just good points for this game.Inquire a bit about it.

  • @Ojyh

That is the point, I don't want builds to be easy to make, and traits don't change enough.

Some builds of mine don't use elites and they work better that way.

  • @cr9527 Ok, why not ? Just think the game is entirely different, but in any case for me the main particularities of GW1 are kept in GW2, just adapated to an MMO (like balanced classes, real scenario, very structured PvP etc...) That's the most important I think.

Traits don't change many things on the build, they are like a part of it, anyway that's my view. Making builds is quite easy because it's more using it and adapt to the situation IN the battle that becomes harder.

  • @Ojyh

If almost every combination of skills is a good one, what fun is there designing builds?

  • @cr9527 You don't really design builds, right on this point. You choose what to play by choosing weapons, you offset the voids with utilitary skills and adapte the traits to what you play. Then you try to play the best way you can with what you choose (also typical of GW).I understand this can be frustrating but this is just another kind of gameplay, that's all, it doesn't mean it's uninteresting.

Anyway, forgot to say the video is cool.I rarely play with pets but I will try something like that.

  • @Ojyh

That has been my entire point... I Love designing builds.

I never said it is become boring, I no longer know what GW2 will be like. It is very unfamiliar

  • Are you gonna get Guild Wars 2 when its released?? I am!!!!!!! xD

  • @DemonNaoto

I am but I'm not psyched about it anymore. It is no longer Guild Wars :(

  • @cr9527 Well, from all the trailers I've seen, it looks REALLY impressive!!!! xD I cant wait for it! But what makes you think its NOT Guild Wars??? O.o

  • @DemonNaoto

far more limited skill combination, allows soloing (without henchmen), everything is geared to more of a classic WoW type MMO than Guild Wars.

  • @cr9527 wait...what??? Guild Wars 1 lets you adventure with henchmen AI....why not Guild Wars 2??? Are u sure thats true?? Well, to be honest, WoW and GW2 are 2 completely different games! Im pretty sure theyre not aiming to make the game like a TYPICAL MMO, u know what I mean??

  • @DemonNaoto

Every difference GW1 has from GW2 brings GW2 closer to wow. and yes I am sure.

They dumbed down the game so much.

  • Very nice build, along with survivability. And to think the pet is only lvl 18!

  • @Hillman105

thank you, although sadly it is useless in pvp :(
