i am a liverpool fan,but i remember this final so much,i was in isle of wight and rooting for spurs so much,tony parks save was fantastic and i remember that more than any liverpool triumpth in the 1980s :)
Delighted that Spurs beat those cheating bastards as it should've been Nottingham Forest in that final not Anderlecht. And what a great night for Keith Burtenshaw winning the UEFA Cup in his last match in charge.
This Anderlecht team were subject to bribing a ref in their semi against Nottm Forest but I don't know if anything happened with it. Thanks for upload!!
I was there, behind the goal at Paxton Rd end, saw all the pens what a night. Tony Parks the hero, Robbo did his job that night. How Ossie missed we'll never know but it doesn't matter. This clip great but didn't show an Archibald screamer in extra time that was saved brilliantly by the Anderlecht keeper. We stayed outside the ground until 1:30 calling for Burkinshaw and he came out. Brilliant
