I loved the ninja turtles but i thought this movie was lame, they made casey jones too pretty, he had to be more like a wolverine that uses sporting good to fight. Hated the story that wanted to be epic but didn't feel epic, i'd rather see battles that are more personal. Should have started from the begining and ended with a shredder battle. Even though i read the comic and liked it the old cartoon show the best especially when it first came out.

I watched this, and I admit, this story is laaame... actually everything surrounding antagonists groupe was stupid. However, turtles on the other hand, and things that happened between them was suprisingly good. I enjoyed the movie, I just wish they will came up with more serious villains next time.

Voicing Splinter was his last role and he died just one day after the spokesman confirmed he was playing the role. Since he already recorded his lines the finished film was dedicated to him.

I'd give this a Some Old Bull S**t. I loved both of the Ninja Turtles series and the original movie, but this thing was a slap in the face. Not only did the plot make no sense whatsoever as a sequel to the original but they couldn't even get the characters right: Leonardo became an asshole for no reason whatsoever and Mikey and Don were barely in the entire film.

I do agree with Carlyle that if you weren't a fan of the series as a kid (which I was. Carlyle, you're awesome! ;D) then you won't enjoy it. But...I will have to go with Leon's review. It's not full-price worthy. This is something that must be seen over and over again, and not really meant for the big screen (unless you got a big TV at home).

I was a huge fan of the Turtles growing up in the '90s. So, that makes me want to give this a Full Price. However, my one friend, who never saw the Turtles before, thinks it's a Rental.

So, I'll balance that out and give it a Matinee.

As far as the Turtles films are concerned, here's my order:

i gave it a full price, i was, like, 13 when i first saw this, and i had that friend who was like an older brother, and, like an older brother, was ALWAYS better at shit then me. i could really connect with raphiel there. i mean, they should have developed mikey and donnie a bit. loved the animation, and the muscle system they gave the 3d models, made it more realistic and shit. not perfect though, it had a shitty story that took, like, five minutes, but i liked it, from a teenage/animator view.

Here is the thing people don't realize about the original teenage mutant ninja turtles. It was originally a comic book..... that was violent as hell. Shredder didn't fall off a roof like in the first movie. He was gutted, and then thrown off that roof. With a grenade.

In the new cartoon, they end up on an alien planet where they band together with some triceratops people and escape a gladatorial arena.  Thats not what happened. The turtles killed those guys and took hostages in the comic.
