  • Im not a fan of show style lines but I do like why there doing it and there not bad

  • helluh sick

  • word!

    this is the first drumline

    who dont look anals lolz

    this is pretty tight

somethin like that should happen here

  • @GbuZ336 Lol Its different kinds of playing even your not a percussionist or or you belong to a group such as this and do not appreciate musicality and uniformity

  • @GbuZ336 im actually trying to get a community drumline started in my city. but lemmie speak truth to u nobodys gonna be more excited then you are about your idea and also dont wait around for some one else to start one get up and do it (no disrespect) but on some real be the change you want to see

  • Love u Jamie!!! Yall know that! Jamie been a beast and Im glad he took it to another level from CMB...4 LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEE!!!~Mrs.Sims (used2b Little)

  • im n katioc drumline its on 72nd

  • I wish there could be some stuff like that around my community... its really a great thing...

  • that was great, the news should have more positive stories like this rather than constantly about violence

  • you guys are role models to all black musicians. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

  • Excellent. How did the whole Drum Line tradition start in the USA-?

In my nation- Indonesia- we do it in some more upmarket High School (no where near as professional as per the US)- but i think this may be like duplicating the US for superficial "prestige" for prospective parents (customers ka-ching!).

It seems to have an enormous following in the States.

  • Haha, after that "bling" comment you can tell that news anchor desperately wants to say how bad they suck lol.

  • u go two ways with these people 1. you could give a little bit more effort but on the other hand i love what your doing with the kids it makes good people for our community keep it going guys

  • Keep it up, y'all :D We should really do something like this here. Hmmmm.........

  • wait a sec... seriously, they're trying to do something better for themselves and u go off and say they suck? there's ppl like u who make other people want to go be bad and start stuff. atleast these guys are now staying out of trouble.

    k thanks

  • Yeah, they're not nearly as good as that time you were on tv for doing something good with your life...oh wait, that wasn't you, you were too busy SUCKING ASS!!!!

  • drums turn boys into men!

  • WOW-

look, im involved in a competitive level drumline, and im goin out for DCI next year, BUT i can see the GOOD these guys are doing and obviosly if you CANT, then you're too focused on the wrong thing, because when it comes down to it, clean or dirty, its all about HEART and WHY you play.

    Geez.

  • where are you auditioning?

  • omg...u r the first person i've met that actually have complimented these showtype drumlines and not critizie their technique....thats y i play...CUZ I LOVE IT....ITS IN MY BLOOD....so not all dci people are stupid and too cocky..spread it to the DCI if u make it

  • RIGHT, But I am the brother to one of these members and where they live they actually calmed more violence down and they can't stop everything but they can try

  • Wonderful, yall haters plaese keep hating like you do, at least then they know that they're on your mind

  • what a positive message but they shud get funded by someone to take them somewhere.

  • Good :)

  • I love how some people are totally knocking this drumline. I think they're great. Yeah Texas has great drumlines....BUT, it's a different category. It's like trying to compare UNT drumline or Morehead drumline to Gramblin or A&T, you can't. It's HipHop and Rock, plain and simply. Go on tour with a top 12 drumcorp and you'll see. Hell the clown at the 4th of July parade in Bristol was even jamming. You can't enjoy this unless you fully apreciate music and the art of drumming.

  • dude u guys suck its all a shitty cadence

  • these guys are really doing a positive thing. they are great

  • all the negative comments are just the old and good JEALOUS...GG

  • im a former tenor player and i think this is just awsome what u all r doing! keep up the good work!

  • fuck no!!! texas is where its at!

  • man i seen dem drumlines.... yall not on our level

  • were u come from weith texas

  • nambe! atl's lines r good but they aint the best... sorry :(

  • ok... georgia started break downs.... and dats all they doin in da vodeo... a big break down... i think we are the best.. every drumline do break downs so basicaly yall be doin our stuff for bout 30 50 years

  • Chicago's best??

    =[

  • Saw them in Chicago this past weekend and it was an amazing show. So much energy and sound. They have so much talent.

  • take a look at the other vids of kaotic.... and comment them please....im interested in your thoughts......and for the haters, while your downing the program, we're keeping kids from hanging on street corners tryna rob douchebags like you!!!lol j/k but yall get the point

  • ok but us n2deep can beat yahll at any time N@DEEP WATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT(QUADS_ STIX-snare-jerome,moses,jonathan,london-bass joradn-tenor-marice

  • thats going 2 be a negative,fam.....

  • Jeff Qween? I have never heard of him...

  • search jeffn queen and the blue devils

  • I'm not sure if you understand the joke. His name isn't jeff qween or jeffn queen. It's Jeff Queen. Learn how to spell.

  • well i type fast and i dont look at the keyboard so dont tell me to learn how to spell

  • I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I guess I should have asked you to learn how to type. Perhaps I also should have asked you to learn proper grammar.

  • im pray for you ok cause you need prayer

  • Thank you. I'm sure it will do a lot of good.

  • im pray fo you to.....lol

  • WAT

  • they was at my skool dey kilt

  • stop hatin bro

  • we played that everyday during warmups in high school...get outta here

  • HAHAHAHA. Whoever said they can play SCV double beat clean is a novice. I'd hope to god you could play SCV double beat. It's a damn basic warm-up. There's nothing complex about it.

  • okay even if it doesn't sound very good.

still its a really good progam.

and i would do it if it kept people out of trouble

  • This shows that music can help kids.....i dont get why the goverment takes away its funding

  • Because that "no child left behind" thing trys to improve test scores, ending up taking away from classes like art and music for math and English. but I am for music.

  • Wonderful You guys R Great !

  • Thats soooo awesome. I wish I could find people that were truly dedicated like that. You guys rock! Keep it up!

  • Great job, Kaotic Drum Line. Mr. Poindexter, I think this is a Wonderfully positive idea for youth in various communities. Who says you cannot start your own movement! You go Brotha!!!!

  • dude...everybody plays that..if its not clean you have some trouble.

  • Shut up, crashclown777. I don't care even if you could play SCV double beat clean, you're still an idiot.

  • this is cool

  • I have something better for you, Shut up! If you're so good, why not march DCI and kick the SCV drumline out of their spots? ya jerk. piss off! Thanks for the comment!!! =)

  • you do notice tht all of the ppl tht leave bad comments on drumlines tht say they can play scv double beat clean their accounts are closed go figure

  • Shut up.

  • That's really positive, and creative. I'm a drummer myself, and I only wish I had the chance to participate in something like that.

  • Cool!

  • yes

  • thats embaressing. im sorry if your in that video.

  • cummon that was for tv. i play 4 kaotic check out my vid and tell me i suck ass. were not gonna sit there and chop all day with no show. chopping is for competitions. show is for the community. i seriously doubt that we would get kids attention by doing chesses and book reports saying "hey this is a rudiment, its great stuff if ur a drummer" thats not how u get their attention

  • traditional drumlines yes, this kind of drumline no. traditionalist would all agree with me

  • yall be be challenging other drumlines

  • i like the way how this drumline isnt for the competition....theryre doing it for the community ....but not to burst the bubble butt....they suckk ass

  • Maaannn... you suck ass. They're trying to make a very significant difference; They can only get better - Keep it up Kaotic!

  • i wish more people would play professionally... more dci quality stuff, and less college band, drumline movie-esque.... bah

  • so what is professionally huh....corp style? there is more that one style i marched corps and showstyle they are the same so shut up.

  • No they aren't, one takes talent and the other doesn't. Shut up.

  • tell that to LSU or University of Michigan which are show style and are two of the best white showband out there and yes both of them originated off the same basic fundamentals. Now dont get me wrong some showstyle just dont care about the sound and more of the show as do corp style. If you dont know check out Black fire,JSU,PVAM,SU. These drumlines do teach corp style but they give entertainment when they play.BTW if you didnt notice more corp style bands are putting showstyle in their shows.

  • LOL, you automatically fail by trying to say that college marching band takes talent. Again, shut up.

  • you aint got the sense god gave a skunk..LOL..

  • Says the guy who used LSU and Michigan's drumlines as an example of talent. STFU, you fail.

  • gos isn't real. you're point is invalid.

  • yo how can i get in touch wit this guy????

  • Did he say a light bub popped in head?

  • there -- their -- they're

  • i like this drumline

    who cares if there professional

    there good

  • I run the chicago marching bands network and I always see kaotic. This isn't about being the greatest dline in the country this is about helping the community and if you can't see that they are doing something positive then you are blind. If the first thing you have to say is "they know no rudiments" then you completely missed the point

  • who cares bout bein proffesional doing what they are doing?! you show me having that kinda positive impact on people and a community w/ bein all pro.

  • I think it's absolutely amazing what they're doing for the communities and the kids. Just great. Props guys.

  • Would be better if they knew wtf they were doing.

  • hello, im not a drumline kind of guy, im just 15, i play most jazz on the kit, but what i dont understand is what they are doing that isnt right.

    lol, please pardon my ignorance.

  • Dude, Chill, its about contributing to the community more that the technique and execution of the line.

  • i agree it is good but they are learning all wrong if your going to learn you learn it right

  • i never liked all that dancing around do the blue devils do that or scv or cavaliers no thats my point when i say they are a joke their form and playability is all messed up to these people they don't know any better so they think it's good which its not bad but stop the dancing around and beating sticks on the ground it is un proffesional

  • dude Its a different style of Drumline. and I do think that it is giving the wrong ideal of a higher drumline.

  • This story really warms my heart. The idea that music has kept these kids off the street and away drugs is truly amazing. However, they really need some instruction and education in music. If they hope to get any better, the ability to read music will be an absolute must. Stay off the streets, but please, better your musical talent in the right ways.

  • lol, that was complete trash

  • you know what i like what there are trying to do and all but i just don't like the stuff they play but getting kids into something as good as this thats great but my drumline could beat them any way so i take back my other comment.

  • IMHO i dont think these guys give a rats arse if your line could beat em, why dont ya stop strokin' ya ego and take it for what it, a guy trying to affect positive change in his community

  • your right i was only kidding

  • these guys are a joke haha

  • i use to be a drumline, and you guys have more rhytem than most regiments and units i've seen... i wish i was back in the line... im the cymbas pimp, lol....

  • good job keep it up man

  • shit

  • okay, i get the point, they make the community look good and they sound good, but i wanna see them perform!!

  • nice, u doin ur thing and helpin people to...we need a lot more of dat in dis world these dayz....

  • Im frm Miami and i respect what u doin man, keep it up

  • Hell yeah.... Nice job guys. Its good to see the kids excitted about drumming. Keep it up man.

  • hell yea jrock doin his thang. and brian mexican ass 2,lol.

im thinkin about choppin wit them this year

  • a yo stop readin my mind man

  • WOOOOOOOo j roc dats my nigga chi-town stand up

  • good ideas

  • now see, this is what more drummers should be doing. good luck to this guy. we need more role models in our show style bands.
