Keeping Score is done with great knowledge, sensibility, will to share and fine editing techniques with the aim of making us understand better what this is all about. MTT is the right one! No one could have done it better. Thanks!
MTT's conducting can sometimes be so patronizing.... i will be very pissed if i were in the orchestra (ha... ha. ha.) but i guess it's good for the educational aim of his program
This is one of the best documentaries I've seen regarding The Rite of Spring so far, very good at presenting a well rounded context regarding the piece.
That violist was known for his hideously distorted instrument. Obviously it didn't sound any different from a regular viola, or he wouldn't be up in that chair.
7:38 Do anyone have this recording?

Exactamente.
