  • If that is a bassoon, then I'm a baboon!

  • Stravinsky is my favorite. So wild and sexy music.

  • Niiiiiice viola 1:43 Looks like it's straight out of a Dali painting.

  • look at the viola in 8:05 :S!

  • this is great

  • I can't decide which piece I love more. Firebird, or Rite of Spring.

  • Keeping Score is done with great knowledge, sensibility, will to share and fine editing techniques with the aim of making us understand better what this is all about. MTT is the right one! No one could have done it better. Thanks!

  • What the hell is the percussionist using on the tam-tam at 2:40 ????

  • @JoshuaLuty Large felt coated mallet.

  • MTT's conducting can sometimes be so patronizing.... i will be very pissed if i were in the orchestra (ha... ha. ha.) but i guess it's good for the educational aim of his program

  • This is one of the best documentaries I've seen regarding The Rite of Spring so far, very good at presenting a well rounded context regarding the piece.

  • I Love This Documentary :D

  • love this documentary so far

  • Agree Schwab

  • What is the name of that book mencioned by MTT?

  • at 0:42 there is an really large looking viola in the right side of the picture, what is that? i have never seen anything like it.

  • That violist was known for his hideously distorted instrument. Obviously it didn't sound any different from a regular viola, or he wouldn't be up in that chair.

  • it's don ehrlich's ergonomic viola, it's actually quite small and very light. the sound is very bright.

  • What kind of idiots would rate this 3 stars?

  • @ThaSchwab

2 years later: What two kind of idiots would dislike this?
