When you span your camera around, you're looking at the PALISADES. They were painted by Thomas Moran back in the 1800's. If you ever go back, try being there at dawn or dusk. The sun hitting those rocks is really awesome.

nope, those are not the Rockies. You have to go a little bit further east of GR before you run into those.
