  • How Dare you Waste 100$ On those Beasts.

  • @CallmeHamster i love you

  • @Ch4nc3h4ck3r I LOVE YOU TOO <3

  • I worked at skechers for about a year and I was wearing my shape ups 30 hours a week, running back and forth- the only thing that happened is I got sore in the back of leg but there was no change in my look or weight. I personally wouldn't recommend them.

  • @magicalreality - I wouldn't say it helps with weight loss, but I do notice that it burns my calves when I walk, therefore "shaping them up". And, I do love them for walking. :D They are the only shoe I've tried while walking that don't hurt my shins.

  • lol just get an air max it is the best shoe to run with and they are confortable and it is hot

  • @7890wasiu - Actually, I use these for walking only. They are not meant to run in.

  • @Rozienab Yeah, heel to toe is natural for me. I talked to a sales rep, he said that the shoes probably wore out which was why they messed up. I'll believe it since I was wearing them every day for about 8 hrs or more. You should be alright :)

  • I'd suggest avoiding wearing them for any long-term period. Wore them at my job for about three months and started developing severe pains in my hips, thighs, feet etc and they're still screwed up even though I got new shoes a month or so back. Keep it to workouts only, if that.

  • @Reepicheep28 - Oh no. That stinks. I hope that nothing happens like that to me. They are so comfortable :(

  • Just wondering how long youve had these shoes for now and just wondering if you've noticed any difference in any weight loss goals you may have?

  • @laxplayer56 - I have had them for over a year and no, I haven't noticed any weight loss, but I haven't been doing anything to lose weight. I have noticed that when I wear the shoes and walk briskly, my calves burn like crazy and they are comfortable to work and stand all day in them.

  • @kentralmakes3 LMAO thats funny you havent noticed any weight loss cuz u havent even tried to work out in the shapeups.... you should try working out in them cuz thats one of the purposes of the shoes in the first place.

  • which version are these?

  • @livingondaedge - The first one's that Sketchers came out with. They are the shape ups, not the newest one's that they came out with. These are supposed to be meant for only walking and the new one's are for walking and running.

  • I've been debating about buying these.. they are ugly lol.. but I might have to buy some cuz everyone says they're soo comfy!!

  • @crazygurl7138 - They are ugly, but so awesome and comfy!!!

  • Top of that MBT has done many medical study , have a medical certificate , last longer, have a 6 months warranty, better quality, better sole system...

Just look the skechers sole system it is just a foam system look the MBT one : totally different , there is a shank!

  • @williamsacha - Okay! Well, they work great for me!!!

  • @williamsacha - You must work for MBT. Oh well, I still love my Sketchers!!

  • i got the blue and silver ones today! i agree, the big round thing on the bottom is really clunky and ugly looking, but they are SO comfortable. rocking back and forth on them while you stand is so fun :) tonight after i took them off my thighs/calves were a little sore feeling even. love them

  • @gingysaurus - Yes, ugly, but SO comfy!!! I know - your calves do get sore from wearing them!!! I love 'em!! Saw a commercial for some shape up flip flops and I'm thinking of getting those too!!! :D

  • They aren't ugly. Lol. They're just shoes.

  • @teknido - LOL!!!

  • I found out that a girl at my work has them. She ranted and raved about them for a few minutes. I think skechers will soon be part of my wardrobe.

  • @ViciousApollyon - They really are awesome!

  • I don't run much. I basically walk at a verrrry brisk pace. Like speed walking. Would this be safe? I'm thinking about getting some slip resistant ones but I don't want to rip my legs in half at work. I'm pretty in shape in my legs to begin with...but you can never be too healthy! Plus I hear that they are super comfy.

  • @ViciousApollyon - They are EXTREMELY comfortable!!! I think they would be okay to walk very fast in. I know I'm fine whenever I walk very briskly. You will just feel a MAJOR burn in your calves, but that's a good thing :D

  • i heard from a nurse that had these that running is the worst thing that u can do while u have them on. she said she ran with them and it tore her muscles up. she was sooo sore the day after. i guess running just magnifies the tone u get.

  • @bgoodeallday - ouch! That's not good! I know when I do aerobics in them, the arches of my feet hurt really bad! I think they are only meant for walking! :D

  • @shakitty1 - Thank you so much!

  • good review

  • @itchyisvegeta - They seriously work out calf muscles. As far as anything else they claim, I'm not so sure about. But they really do work the calves and build them up!

  • I don't believe any of the claims about helping with fitness with these. I am simply looking for something that won't make my feet hurt, and won't give me an ingrown toe nail, after standing behind a cash register for 9 hours a day on a concrete floor.

  • @luloops - I think so too!

  • They are slightly cuter than the MBT's.

  • @yadilove818 - I know - I wear them with everything too! The only place I don't wear them is church and that's it.

  • I have had mine for a month and i they are the only shoes that i wear. I wear these shoes with everything. They are super cumfy and have helped me with chronic foot and hip pain. I love these shoes and i really wanna get a second pair.

  • @yadilove818 That is the info. I've been looking for! Thank you. I have back problems and wonder if this would help with that too?

  • @sleepyfacedangel - I belive that it would help with your back problems!

  • @kentralmakes3 : I tried on two pairs today. They had the orginal "Shape Ups" for $79 and some newer ones that are made for "all day wear" with a lower heel for $99. I tried both pair and thought the "all day" ones were better. I found a slight flaw on the pair I was going to get and they didn't have another pair in my size. I'll check back next week. By the way, did everyone find these shoes true to size? Thanks for any info. in advance.

  • @sleepyfacedangel - I had to go a half size up!!!!

  • @kentralmakes3: That's what I've been hearing, most of the people I've talked to told me they had to go up in sizing. By the way, a co-worker started with the MBT's and says she prefers the Sketchers. She said they're really comfortable and help with her sciatic leg, hip, and back pain. Thanks for the all the help, Kentralmakes3! :D

  • @sleepyfacedangel - Yes, they are awesome!!! I even talked my mom into buying a pair and going to get my husband a pair as well!!! My mom is in LOVE with them!!!! She couldn't believe how comfy they were!!!!

  • @smilingsandra - Yeah, they definitely would have helped alot! I wear them all day around the house and my calves look so good :D

  • I wish I had those for when I worked retail! My feet used to ache and ache.

  • You should DEFINITELY get them if you stand all day! They are SO comfortable!

  • A lot of my clients have them and they love them, I should get some since I stand all day!! xx
