You're really funny. Seriously though, it is impossible to waste water because there will always be the same amount on earth now matter how much we use. Although it is not always in usable form, e.g. if 80% of the body is water and the population keeps rising... couldn't that be considered wasteful? We're increasing the demand of water, while at the same time causing less water to be available for use.

I remember a commercial from Reading Rainbow when I was a kid. This kid is brushing his teeth and leaves the water on, and the animation cuts to a lake where the water level is falling fast. A fish looks quite perturbed. It cuts back to the kid, then back >>> lake where the fish is barely covered by water. The fish calls the kid on the phone and says something like "Hey man, I need some too!"

I have never left the water on while brushing again.

I use less Water all the time!!!!!!!! I take shorter showers (& I scrub with soap, but I turn off the Water until I need 2 rinse), I don't leave it on when I brush my Teeth & I put all of my dishes in the dishwasher... I save a ton of Water!!!!!!!!

My only issue is the thing with showering...My water heater sucks and takes like 3 minutes to get some hot water, so if I turn it off for a short time, it'll be balls-cold when I turn it back on.

And yeah I don't leave the water on when I shave or brush my teeth. Can't stand when people do that.

The Earth is made up of 71% of water So it really doesnt matter how much we use it ends up in the same place -> Earth! I mean sure we can still save some water as there is places going through droughts. But lets not get all technical.

Such importance should be a given if you have ever taken a biology class or maybe just been bored enough to perhaps google the importance of water conservation. Most of earth is water -yes of course, however you cannot just fly into a random spot of the pacific ocean and survive off of that. (cont'd)
