The 0-60 times are done by them, same driver in each car, same day, real world conditions. The figures you refer to are advertised from the manufacturer (some mfr's will be conservative and some will not be). Real world tests tend to be better but as with all new cars, the next one on the factory line will have slightly different bhp to the next (even though its the same car), and are never same (as can be seen on dynos). Mfr's just quote an average "guide", along with performance figures.
There's only one Evo 10 around where I live and jesus christ I think he has a widebody on it because it looks rediculous(good thing). He also has the mudflaps on the back and damn that thing looks amazing.

you realize that neither the STi or the Evo was designed for drifting right? and infact from the factory are both incapable of drifting because they are AWD. Drift cars are RWD and the STis and Evos that are drift cars have the front driveshafts removed. both cars have their bloodlines in rally racing which is 100000x cooler of a sport than drifting.

an evo is a quality car no doubt about that. it runs well, fast, and looks great. The new STI is far too complicated for its own good. Watch the top gear show on it, Wasn't recommended too highly. The vo on the other hand got a great review. And dont even thinkg about tryin to slag off Top Gear. Best car show ever hands down!!!!

Just my opinion...well the S4 is more expensive, but....it's better overall. Audis have perfect build quality and the new 330ps 3.0 supercharged V6 will get you to 60mph in about 5 seconds too. Not hardcore but anyway, what you see is the overall package right? and mannnn that car is awesome. Fancy those LED front lights too...hehe. Down goes Mercs and BMWs. Volvo S60R also with 300ps, a bit old now...maybe can't match the ride and handling quality of the newer cars but i still like it too.
As far as im concerned (sti, evo) we dont need no damn options. keep it light and simple and cheap. these used to be driver cars. If we want to add, we got aftermarket and let customize that way!

If you know what your doing you won't, My first clutch...burnt. My second, I learned how to slip it. Over 100 launches and numerous freeway pulls. With those 100 launches I averaged a 1.6 60' and trapped around 115-120 every single time.

I see no point or why they added to the VW to this, its not really a racing car like the STI and evo.Both those cars are made for drifting. the sti was intended for drifting and peace of mind, the EVo tries to do that and drag race. i wouldn't buy a evo because it doesn't have the proven quality of Subaru's, wont last me long, really uncomfortable cars in my opinion.

you realize that neither the STi or the Evo was designed for drifting right? and infact from the factory are both incapable of drifting because they are AWD. Drift cars are RWD and the STis and Evos that are drift cars have the front driveshafts removed. both cars have their bloodlines in rally racing which is 100000x cooler of a sport than drifting.

@zeroflat24 I hope you realize that do some drifting is also in rally racing -__- I wouldn't even consider drifting a sport. It's more like a messing around game. I know that there are now motor shows consisting of people drifting around. But in the words of tanner foust "it's more for show than for competition." Also they aren't design to drift but you can drift them and without barely any counter steer.

GSR is not... gsr vs wrx sti= impreza owns.. but FQ-400 ( the biggest evo 10 edition) vs wrx sti = ..??? think about it... i dont care if the biggest edition of sti has 305 hp and evo's has 400... still.. it would be an equal fight.. cause they are top editions...

agreed!!! they keep saying that the sti is not as good as the evo on curvy roads, YET, the sti ends up with a better time? haha somethings not right here... i own a suby, but i would love an evo too. both cars are great! AWD FTW PERIOD... the golf though hahaha i dont think its not in any comparison with the sti or evo...

an evo is a quality car no doubt about that. it runs well, fast, and looks great. The new STI is far too complicated for its own good. Watch the top gear show on it, Wasn't recommended too highly. The vo on the other hand got a great review. And dont even thinkg about tryin to slag off Top Gear. Best car show ever hands down!!!!

yeah, agreed with that. i've never seen a mitsu won many competition and its inferior to the supremacy of the subaru's awd, which in turn helps won many world rally championship. also most drivers gives very good comment for its pleasure driving experiences.

Just my opinion...well the S4 is more expensive, but....it's better overall. Audis have perfect build quality and the new 330ps 3.0 supercharged V6 will get you to 60mph in about 5 seconds too. Not hardcore but anyway, what you see is the overall package right? and mannnn that car is awesome. Fancy those LED front lights too...hehe. Down goes Mercs and BMWs. Volvo S60R also with 300ps, a bit old now...maybe can't match the ride and handling quality of the newer cars but i still like it too.

If you know what your doing you won't, My first clutch...burnt. My second, I learned how to slip it. Over 100 launches and numerous freeway pulls. With those 100 launches I averaged a 1.6 60' and trapped around 115-120 every single time.
