Yet, no ONE company nor game can coin these ideas. They have been around forever, originating as fairy tales and such. But to go along with what you're saying, I did a little research and figured out that DnD started in 1974 and Games Workshop(WAR creator) started in 1975. Meaning that Dnd was before it all.

My best recommendation is to go to the WAR website and check it out for yourself. I think that the RvR system is really interesting, and the fact that you can level up to max rank through pure RvR is a great fact.

For classes, there are 24 of them in the game, devided up onto 4 archetypes, Tank, MDPS, RDPS, Support / Heal.
