  • It's the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my entire life, i actually went to the stores and bought a 5 albums in 1 box pack of all the songs that Giovanni Palestrina composed

  • Quite the most beautiful vocal music.

  • if you're watching this video because of Drexel University's introduction to music course, thumb up

  • Awesome upload, but what's with the random sideshow? The School of Athens? Some of that stuff just doesn't fit in there. :P

  • I've listened to this song for so many years, and even to this day no other composition is as moving as this one is to me. It can still bring me to tears even after hearing it hundreds of times...truly incredible.

  • @DeathClosesAll I quite agree! I heard it in once in New Haven, ca. 1989, at a Solemn Pontifical Mass (the Archbishop of Hartford, Whealen, at the time), with 1,000 people in attendance, and indeed the 1st and 2nd Agnus Dei reduced me to tears..

I've conducted, sung this piece many times, and one could never tire of it.

  • Where's the second half?

  • @pscar1 Unfortunately, I couldn't get the second half. Terribly sorry.

  • Just beautiful!!!!
