My EXO1000 doesn't flow enough air. At 38 degrees outside, at night, with all the vents open, it can't even cool my head or face. By contrast, my EXO400 and 700 do. The sunvisor is a nice touch, but the tint is too light. The helmet is bulky, but you don't notice the weight, and it does travel through the air well. I didn't notice any wind buffeting at 70mph, but who cares about that when the faceshield builds moisture ... because it isn't flowing air properly. The pump works well too.
I have the dull black version...I wish I would of bought an Arai or shoei. The exo-1000 has terrible peripheral vision I mean TERRIBLE!. This helmet is HOT, the vents are terrible even the updated version is bad. It's very heavy hurts my neck after an hour of riding. The face shield is very nice only need to wash it with water and it comes crystel clean almost like I had no shield on. The inner sun visor isn't dark enough for my likeing. The quick change shield is nice and very durable. CBR600
Just for those looking at the EXO-1000: I just bought a 2010 model and they have revised the front chin vent to open down instead of out like in WBW's review. Dramatically improves airflow. Great helmet for the $280 that I paid for it at my local shop. Thanks WBW for providing all the reviews that you do! Much appreciated ...
Actually the drop down visor is great and does not get in your way unless you ride down the frwy looking at your front wheel. I live in AZ and it has already been hot, the airflow is great! The pump up feature is OK but nothing real special. If you do use it at the track as an average rider, not looking for a Kawasaki contract, the pump feature is great to secure the helmet better.

Thank you.

It's a dark gray/silver/black, the studio lights probably give it a yellow cast, sorry.

One of the best helmets I've seen.
