@ledraps22 Nah, it would heat up the air around the balloon more so than the air inside it, and cause it to fall.

@ledraps22 Actually, the air temperature in the balloon is the same as the temperature outside the balloon, so it falls.

@n00buler89 Nope. Hot air balloons float because the warm air in the balloon lifts it over the cold air. If the air outside the balloon is too warm the balloon won't have enough lift. The rising air will provide some lift, but not nearly enough.

@JKDProductions No, the air inside the balloon being hotter than the air outside causes the balloon to rise. If you're next to a volcano, the air outside is hot as balls, so the balloon would sink.

@emiaz22786 The balloon wasn't to heavy dumbass. the air outside of the balloon was hotter than the air inside the balloon causing it to sink. If you don't know what you're talking about don't open your mouth.
