@RetSquid Tasers give cops the ability to punish someone for doing something illegal. It is not the role of a cop to do the punishing. They do it often though. When you see a high speed chase you will often see the cops be very abusive to the suspect when they catch him. They are punishing him. Cops are no exception to this abuse, they can be punished by people other than the courts, just as they like to do. I hope they don't ever forget that.

If my life is being threatened... and someone pointing a Tazer at me is threatening my life... I have an inalienable right to defend myself. Now if I'm committing a violent crime, that is a different story... but if I'm not, and police want to take the chance of using violence to come at me.. I can use deadly force to defend myself. This country is soon going to change.
