He deserved the taser. He has to learn to follow instructions. Once the officers asked him to leave he became increasing hostile as if he was on meth. The officers had to protect themselves and the people in the room.
regardless of whom may be 'legally' in the right, the man was removed bcos they didnt like what he had to say, which was in any case, the complete truth, why would you be unhappy for something truthful to be said about you unless you knew it was wrong. anyone with common sense and decent morals can see whats happening here, and whats happening throughout every area of the media
Why aren't there more people like yourself willing to point out or even see some common sense in subjects like this? Look at all the thumbs up you have. There are so many out there that want to focus on if he was justifiably tased or other side-tracking of what's really the important issue. I just watched another vid of someone being taken away after asking Bill Clinton about the Bohemian Grove. These are just questions, so what's going on???
@CIARANFACE I'm not taking sides. And I don't really know exactly what's going on but I've seen enough footage and know proper etiquette on asking a question in places like that. You go up and ask a question. Not act like just because this person talked for 2 hours YOU can or have the right to talk and give a speech.
Meyer violated the forum rules & violated the rights of the forum organizers & every other attendee.
The organizers had every right to throw him out regardless of what he had to say. Vulgar & disruptive speech in a forum are not protected under the 1st amendment, so it was no violation of his FOS to remove him.
Meyer made the choice to resist the police removing him, and resist arrest. His tasing was 100% his own choice.

free speech is obviously conditional due to what we have accepted and allowed collectively Rape, Murder, Torture, Slavery, Abuse, Hunger, Poverty continues as being sit around like a dear in the head lights with no expression but that of fear. COME ON!
not one person stood up - not one - fear of death keeps human beings enslaved. This is just one example of why the world is the way it is - it is a reflection of fear an illusion - what if all the beings in the crowd asked the same question then what?

"too many people think ohh he broke the law, he deserves to be treated like an animal." You're a fucking idiot. He broke the law. He was under arrest & they told him he was going to be tased if he didn't comply. They were NOT vague about it. He CHOSE to ignore them you stupid piece of shit. The fact is, he CHOSE to be drive-stunned by CHOOSING to ignore their REPEATED orders even AFTER being warned he'd be tased.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"what happened to free speech" What a moron. Stop talking about things you don't understand. Freedom of speech does NOT give you the right to break the law with impunity. Freedom of speech does NOT give you the right to violate the forum rules with impunity.
"our natural rights come before any law that declares that youll be hurt for trying to get an answer" Meyer was NOT arrested OR drive-stunned for anything he said you ignorant piece of shit. He broke the law & was Resisting Arrest, moron.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"When the reaction of a LEGITIMATE Question is BRUTALITY, VIOLENCE and the use of TORTURE -" Complete bullshit. Meyer was NOT arrested OR drive-stunned with by a Taser for ANYTHING he said. He broke no less than 5 laws that day ALL of them AFTER the Q&A had been announced to be over. He brought it all on himself by his actions & stupid decisions. What he said, or more specifically his CHOOSING to break ALL of the forum rules, caused ACCENT to cut his mic. What he DID got him arrested.
Kerry did accept the question (this was AFTER he was a cnadidate for president BTW).
Kerry didn't have him thrown out. the student group running the event did. Meyer was also told to leave BEFORE he even got to the mic, and the order to cut the mic was made BEFORE he mentioned Skull & Bones. You seem to not know what actually happened that day.
Everything he said was true, that's why he was "kicked out" for "violating" the rules. ccr5cxr4 you are a government disinformation agent, shut the hell up scum.
Kerry Skull and Bones
Bush Skull and Bones
How can we as a free society tolerate the appointments of members in a secret organization to high positions of our government??
Voting machines disenfranchised hundreds of black voters in order for Bush to win...it's all planned out.
"that's why he was "kicked out" for "violating" the rules"
that's really strange considering he was kicked out BEFORE he said any of that.
BTW, it is no secret that Bush and Kerry are Bonesman, They have both admitted it on nationaly TV and it was mentioned in several outlets during the election, including History Channel, Meet the Press, and Jeapordy.
Funny that they'd kick him out for somehting that is not even a secret BEFORE he even mentions it.
He also asked about the disenfranchisement of African Americans in Florida and in Ohio in relation to the electronic voting machines.
The real problem is that he asked a question about these voting machines, and because he released partial information threatening their power he was arrested.

You don't know what you're talking about Bredac. PERIOD. "The real problem" is he broke the fucking law. How hard is that for you conspirafuckheads to get through your thick skulls? You morons act like Meyer brought up some secret information that no one knows about when there have been fucking movies made about Skull & Bones & books written on it. For fucks sake there was a Jeopardy question about it a while back. He was arrested for breaking the law & he was drive-stunned for Resisting Arrest.
he wasen't being arested wene he asked what he was being detaind for they dident answer and buy law you will be informed wene arested he had a right to ask a question and be treated like an american not tazered into being quiet bush stole his office and desirves to be impeeched O wait to late he has done his dammage and dissapered now it's all obams fault impeeched for a blowjob but not for voter fraud tampring and war crimes touture is a crime
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"buy law you will be informed wene arested" Do you really expect people to believe the idiotic bullshit you spew just because you say it? You must think everyone is as stupid as you are. They do NOT have to tell you why you are being arrested before cuffing you ESPECIALLY when you're actively resisting.
ccr5cxcr4 here has spammed this nonsense across near every version of this video, its unbelievable the lengths that some people will go to push their agenda
"His free speech rights were not violated"
but the ACLU clearly states there was a violation
now, i dont call it a fact either way, but if he can make decisions like that then perhaps the supreme court is unnecessary huh?
we could just go ask ccr5cxcr4/conotoxin/humanshot [1,2&3]/ traviancollege here to decide
The discussion of tasers is irrelevant to the issue. Meyer violated the rules of the forums & was ejected. He resisted & created this confrontation by resisting arrest.
His free speech rights were not violated. His rights don't supersede the rights of others. When he violated the rules of the forums and refused to leave he violated the rights of the organizers and every other attendee.
I will not say he deserved to be tased, but he DID deserve arrest. Tasering is a reasonable & safer method for subduing an uncooperative suspect than traditional methods.
Of course if you anti-taser cultists would prefer we could return to the traditional methods. Batons, tear gas, pepper spray, dogs, rubber bullets, beanbag guns, stingballs, stun grenades, simple physical domination.
Of course all of them are more dangerous than tasers, but hey, if its what you want....
"they are SUPPOSED to tell him why they are arresting him -- when did that NOT become a law?"
Only in Hollywood is that a law. They DID tell him later on which is perfectly legal.
Also, he was demanding to know why he was being arrested long before he was actually being arrested. He was only arrested long after they tried to make him leave. He was given quite a bit of leeway.
He was clearly just trying to cause a scene. Did you see footage after they took him out of the room?
Can I ask a question to all the people here who are saying the guy deserved to get tasered-if this was some student in iran, I bet nearly all of you would be complaining about how unjust it was and how iran lacks diplomacy and oh, we should invade iran cause they threaten democracy and freedom. If he was being a nuisance you kick him out, and if tases have to be used you dont do it after 4 of those cops are holding him down. Any basic humanist will believe that what happened to meyer was wrong.
That's what they were doing initially, kicking him out. When he started resisting the removal, then the removal changed to an arrest for resisting an officer. They managed to cuff his right hand. They were trying to cuff his left hand, but his left arm was latching onto a chair & he refused to let go. They gave him SIX WARNINGS that if he didn't let them cuff his free hand, he'd be tased. That's 5 more warnings than most people would get. If this happened in Iran, I'd say HE deserved it too.
UUhhh . . . He WAS kicked out. What the hell do you think he was arrested for? It was because he fought instead of leaving. He was actually kicked out before he even got to ask Kerry anything. they tried to grant him a special privelage and he abused it. then they tried to get him to leave for a whole minute before arresting him, and tried to get him to quit fighting for another whole minute before tasing him.

No, this is what happens to a selfish, disrespectful prick when he breaks no less than 4 laws, ALL of the forum rules & the Students Code of Conduct. He's lucky his lawyer was able to get him 18 months probation instead of going to trial with all of the video evidence & eyewitness testimony against him.
hahahahahahaha the dumbest fuck ever. He'll go down in history as the piece of shit that he is. Don't tase me bro!! hahahaha Hope he gets lit up again real soon!!!
HE is whats wrong with America. He knows he fucks up, then tries to act innocent and stupid 'i just asked a question' at the end, when before he was stating 'blow jobs' and later calling it a protest! Your mindset is all fucked up America- from the leaders, right down to the man at the bottom, this man!
He wasn't tasered for asking a question. 15 other students asked the Senator even tougher questions before Meyer did. So that's bullshit. The only difference is that the other 15 students followed the forum rules. They didn't grab the mic away from someone else, get rude and start screaming obscenities and then go into a bizzare rant and then start fighting the cops and resisting removal from the building. Only he did it, and THAT is why he got himself arrested and tasered after 6 warnings.
It's soo strange that people are soo hypnotized and made like sheep to the point that they remain seated and just look at him while he's getting harassed by 5 cops. This guy is 100% innocent, and no one even dares to ask a question because "it's police". Wake up, the system is not right.
"It's soo strange that people are soo hypnotized and made like sheep to the point that they remain seated and just look at him while he's getting harassed by 5 cops."
They aren't hypnotized at all. They saw the whole thing and are actually cheering that the cops are finally removing this jack ass. Look up the many witness reports and Meyer's own statements about it. You may be surprised at what you find.
The cops weren't harrassing him at all. They were making a jerk leave the building.

petroniaskho, if you meant back to the room the answer is no. He was arrested for breaking the & spent the night in jail. He broke no less than 4 laws that day, all of the forum rules & the Student Code of Conduct. He was lucky his lawywer was ble to get him a deal for 18 months of probation instead of going to trial with all of the video evidence & eyewitness testimony against him. He issued letters of appology & admited he handled things wrong that day. I'd call that an understatement.
This is a fate that many Americans will soon face and even those who cheered will be taken away. This makes me so upset, people just sit there and watch a fellow human being hurt and let tyranny happen. THIS IS SICKENING!!!
whoever agrees with those fukin pigs is a stupid mutherfuker,in my opinion those filthy pieces of scum should all be analed by a ten foot pole wrapped in barbed wire
Florida State Law 776.051 "A person is not justified in the use of force to resist an arrest by a law enforcement officer who is known, or reasonably appears, to be a law enforcement officer.
Ok, I've never heard of anyone getting arrested or getting tazed for asking a personal question. Let me revise the scenario. Anytime you ask about a "secret society" you should then immediately put your hands behind your back and go to jail without questioning. Kerry didn't even tell the the cops to stop and he knew what exactly going on. Meaning he agreed the action was right. Sadistic man he is.
Florida State Law 877.13 "It is unlawful for any person to a) knowingly disrupt or interfere with the lawful administration or functions of any educational institution or its activities, b) to conspire to riot or to engage in any school campus function disruption or disturbance.
Any person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 755.983."
kerry pointed and said yes sir to him just before he asked questions so he wasen't disrupting he was asking his question as instructed buy kerry himselfe he diden't go out of order or talke wene anyone else was talking.knowingly he asked why he was being grabed so he dident know and wasen't informed what proof do they have that he planed anything with anyother person it takes two to conspire
Clearly he was resisting arrest. Whatever you might think about whether or not he should have been removed from the room, he was a real handful for those cops and, as you can see at 00:27, attempted to flee.
nop, i don´t think so... it´s just your point of view... there was obviously no reason to use violence... they could of just grab the guy and get him out of there as quickly as posible... by the way, i bet you are a proud "american" who believes in its politicians and you probably like president bush... but, well, it´s just my point of view according to what you wrote about that guy...
Yeah..nazi cops for tazing the guy to settle him down so they can slap the cuffs on him instead of having a fight start, and the guy REALLY getting hurt. Some of you have no common sense.
Just slap the handcuffs on him, lazy nazi cops wanna electrocute people. 'Submit citizen scum!' We seriously need to get involved with the policy making of each police department near us. These guys make up rules as they go and do things the way they want instead of what the local people want.
It amazes me that nobody is interested in what he said.Kerry won the election and new it, but conceded anyway.I'm not a Kerry fan, but he has a point. The people that were in charge in Ohio have been indicted over there conduct in the 2004 election.I would think more people would be concerned about that.
Skull and Bones is just a Fraternity. The only thing that keeps it so appealing is that it remains secret. Also, they choose their members by looking at what seniors have the most prospect of doing well in life so they can donate back to the Fraternity when they are Alumni. I'm in a Fraternity myself. We have secrets to and criteria as well before we just let anyone join. Big whoop.
thats funny when its a white guy going crazy and the cops taser him its police brutality but when a black guy gets tazered for the something thats less crazy its restraining.
While I think he went a little overboard with the "they're going to kill me" thing, I do agree. This is fucked up and wrong. Freedom of speech my fucking ass.
What kind of society is the USA? Look how many cops in such an event ...mercy how bad the USA has become! There is absolutely no need for arrest let alone to taser the guy, except the jails are operated by corporations and they want prisoners to become cheap laborers so the criminal owners of the jails get rich.

Meyer violated the forum rules & violated the rights of the forum organizers & every other attendee.
The organizers had every right to throw him out regardless of what he had to say. Vulgar & disruptive speech in a forum are not protected under the 1st amendment, so it was no violation of his FOS to remove him.
Meyer made the choice to resist the police removing him, and resist arrest. His tasing was 100% his own choice.
He deserved everything that happened to him.

What he DID got him arrested.
redrumrob 3 years ago
Kerry did accept the question (this was AFTER he was a cnadidate for president BTW).
Kerry didn't have him thrown out. the student group running the event did. Meyer was also told to leave BEFORE he even got to the mic, and the order to cut the mic was made BEFORE he mentioned Skull & Bones. You seem to not know what actually happened that day.

that's really strange considering he was kicked out BEFORE he said any of that.

They were justified in removing him at that time.
ccr5cxcr4 3 years ago

I will not say he deserved to be tased, but he DID deserve arrest. Tasering is a reasonable & safer method for subduing an uncooperative suspect than traditional methods.
Of course if you anti-taser cultists would prefer we could return to the traditional methods. Batons, tear gas, pepper spray, dogs, rubber bullets, beanbag guns, stingballs, stun grenades, simple physical domination.
Of course all of them are more dangerous than tasers, but hey, if its what you want....

thesuperfe 3 years ago 2

Any basic humanist will believe that what happened to meyer was wrong.
pandora7891 3 years ago
That's what they were doing initially, kicking him out. When he started resisting the removal, then the removal changed to an arrest for resisting an officer. They managed to cuff his right hand. They were trying to cuff his left hand, but his left arm was latching onto a chair & he refused to let go. They gave him SIX WARNINGS that if he didn't let them cuff his free hand, he'd be tased. That's 5 more warnings than most people would get. If this happened in Iran, I'd say HE deserved it too.
screwmichaelmoore 3 years ago
"If he was being a nuisance you kick him out"
UUhhh . .

I'm glad you're educated in the legalisms of this country. However, in order to resist an arrest, there has to be prior cause to force the arrest.
This was an example of our Constitutional rights falling to their complete subversion.
