In my opinon, labels like goth,emo,jock are so pointless now. I used to think like that when i was younger. People call me Punk, goth,emo or whatever but I dont call myself that. If you join a community of people who act "different", you are not unique. You are making yourself into a carbon-copy of other people who pretend to be "unique". If you are unique, you don't label yourself, and you do not join a group shaping yourself to fit the stereotype...
The difference: Goth is a culture of being dark. Which is different. Emo is a culture of being different. Which is usually dark. However, most people who are "emo" are not at all special on the inside. They simply wear odd looking clothing, they don't even know what their clothing means, and often they will talk as though they can do whatever, and they act like it's "funny". For example, emo chicks tend to threaten everyone and pretend it's okay. Even when they punch people. Goths don't.
hm if i've read the comments right...about whats goth and whats emo...i never really understood the whole emo thing, a friend of mine is really protective about emos. according to "the goth style" you need to dress dark and have a dark and mysterious way around things, think about dark things etc. then ive been a goth a long time and then evolved into something different, since i mix styles between goth, black metal and j-fashion. Never been one for labels really...they suck.

We're not really evil but we enjoy things that most others feel is evil or unpleasent. Many goths seek to use their darkness in tandem with their light and accept that they are made of both, unlike most people who are evil by claiming that they are only good. In my opinon, labels like goth,emo,jock are so pointless now. I used to think like that when i was younger. People call me Punk, goth,emo or whatever but I dont call myself that. I like the way I dress and act. Its simply me being me. Frankly theyre is no "different then the rest" Every person in the world is not the same person. Therefore we were already different the moment we were born. You should just limit yourself to labels, be who you are without worrying about others.

The difference: Goth is a culture of being dark. Which is different. Emo is a culture of being different. Which is usually dark. However, most people who are "emo" are not at all special on the inside. They simply wear odd looking clothing, they don't even know what their clothing means, and often they will talk as though they can do whatever, and they act like it's "funny". For example, emo chicks tend to threaten everyone and pretend it's okay. Even when they punch people. Goths don't.

hm if i've read the comments right...about whats goth and whats emo...i never really understood the whole emo thing, a friend of mine is really protective about emos. according to "the goth style" you need to dress dark and have a dark and mysterious way around things, think about dark things etc. then ive been a goth a long time and then evolved into something different, since i mix styles between goth, black metal and j-fashion. Never been one for labels really...they suck.

I can kinda see why, goths are some of the sexiest people in the world. But then they fucked it up by adding neon colors and a sickeningly cheery atitude to it. Being a goth is a mindset not a fashion and when I was younger I wore my blacks in order to reflect the dark half of my being.

As for fashion that really isn't entirely true either. I'm goth as you probably have guessed but there are different kinds of goth. Red goths proclaim to reflect dark passion. @666narutomanfan because they are a lot alike in the personality. and they like to try and dress the same. i understand there are some subtle differences. but damn, so many similarities too. sure goth's been around lot longer and has more of a actual culture, but both are always a bunch of depressed people ho like to complain a lot and dress in a ll black. >.>. biggest difference i've noticed though, emo's tend to cut themselves more.. -_- that's it. lol

Germaine should become a district manager of a chain of adult bookstores, or start her own franchise of music store, or something. Whataver she does she should end up the boss so we can see how she deals with her underlings as well as her own superiors. Plenty of drama there! Also ... I still say I like her fat. :)
