Having agreed to do so when you applied for power, you must allow the power company access to their equipment (meter, wires, etc.). You should move your service connection and meter to a location where servicing or reading it does not result in "trespassing".

If you have a problem with the new smart meters, PG&E should shut off your electricity:) It's PG&E's property, not yours. Also, those guys are just doing their jobs.

Them smart meters are only smart for the hydro company. Several cities have overcharged customers and rebatted in the thousands to each. Meters kick in hi rates on motor start ups. Now get this--meter men do read the meters to check on accuracy-need not to because these meters have a CELLPHONE chips sending readings CONTINOUS.From 7:30Am-7:30PM usage is added 30%+.
