The corrosion is calcium chloride, same thing you find near your sinks and gaskets. It can be removed with white vinegar, you can buy like a gallon of it at the grocery store for 1.70. Best thing is to blow air through your pressure washer after you use it to dry it out, but don't blow air through it when its running, the water acts like a lubricant and coolent.
best vid out there for this particular power washer.. i need all the parts you got for my pump . where did u get the pump kit i need one so bad, im in FFA through school and we have this model power washer and the pump is leaking oil , kids that don't know how to use these things put bleach in it and know its toast,, so i took on the job of rebuilding jjust cant find parts for it ..plz let me know where u got them would be a great help for me and my school FFA program..thanks mark
Great job on the videos. I have a Husky 2500 psi pressure washer and the pump died after just using it 3 times. I can't find anywhere on the web where to order a new pump for my Husky. Please let me know where you ordered your parts from.
Nice job. I was waiting for part II. I take your fix worked? You didn't video yourself pressure washing. I was also given a washer whose pump doesn't work and I think its the exact same one as the one you worked on. The numbers on the pump on this video appear to be a match with mine. How did you figure what was wrong with the pump? No water will run through the pump that I have. I'm guessing its the same issue you had with stuck valves.
