hey, you're an amazing artist and have an amazing taste in music! i looked at your website, and your other pieces are also incredible! thanks for this!
that's awesome, those exact lyrics (i think, it was a month ago so now i forgot what songs were in the exhibit) was in the john lennon the new york years exhibition here in new york. it was a very sad exhibit but amazing, being inches away from things he wore/made and touched
and i wish lol. the dakota is still an apartment complex for millionaires and celebrities, so only invited people or workers can get in. i'm outside of it all the time though.
my dad got in once. he restores artwork/antiques/furniture (he's an artist), so he got in because he had to fix an antique in one of the apartments, not yoko's though, that would have been awesome lol. so you've been in that hotel room? lucky!!!
I don't understand why you only have twenty-two comments. People must be blind, or most might just be stupid enough to see how talented you are. The painting is great and I sure as hell envy you. Do you think you can give me tips on painting? I'm a decent drawer, but when it comes to using a brush, I become a total beginner.
you're awesome thank you so much for the comment. i've been drawing for years, but i'm a beginner in painting too, but my dad's a artist so i got it from him. i'll put the tips in the next comment because there wasn't enough space
2. i'm bad with tips but the best tips i can give you is, with acrylic paint (like the painting shown in the video) the paint dries very fast which is annoying, so you'd have to keep remaking the paint, and re-applying to make the blending look, unless you're quick enough to blend it while it's wet. then there's the fact that acrylic dries darker xD so you have to keep that in mind when making the colors, make them lighter than you want them.
3. it's pretty much why i switched to oil. but oil dries really slowly, takes days sometimes. don't use tiny brushes, because if you master fine lines with a bigger brush imagine what you can do with a small one :] don't keep your hand too close to the brush hairs, it makes your hand stiffer and if makes painting harder. that's all the tips i have really xD, pretty much copied from what my dad tells me
thank you :] yeah i can draw george harrison, anyone really. alot of my drawings/paintings are in deviantart. but i don't normally put my very best. i have one of george looking to the side, sorta eating something, but it's not online. and in deviantart art i have one of george looking straight forward, not my best though
thank you! and from your other comments, i see paul's your favorite :D he used to be my fave when i first became a fan. not sure if i have a favorite now. with looks i think they're all perfect, with personality too. it's pretty hard ?_? but i connect with john better, but i still don't have a favorite x]
LOL, yes Paul is my fave, then John. Ringo and George are sort of a tie. I grew up on Rubber Soul. XD I love the Paul/John duets more than life though... like Two of Us. ^^ Don't really know why Paul is my favorite. Probably because of his melodies.
Don't know if this is the place to strike up a conversation, but w/e, haha. What's your favorite song? I seriously can't stop listening to Dig a Pony... it's awesome! And Happiness is a Warm Gun of course.
i don't really have a favorite lol, my faves change all the time through the years, but right now my favorites are probably revolution 9, and a day in the life, they're mind blowing :] and "what's the new mary jane" which was unreleased but should have been. i've never talked to a beatle fan about faves and stuff before lol, no one i know personally really know much about them
Haha, I think it'd be impossible for someone who knows me to not know that I love them. I've never talked to anyone about it though, either. Most of them like their own music, haha.
Speaking of unreleased songs, Can You Take Me Back is gorgeous. It's the last thirty-odd seconds of Cry Baby Cry. It's so blues/soul sounding and I adore it.
A Day In The Life is wicked. I also love Savoy Truffle... it's damn catchy. XD
yeah i love "can you take me back" too :] i love the unreleased songs they're really amazing. in all i have about 813 beatle songs 0_0 i know of a guy i got a torrent from who has about 3,000
not guilty is amazing too as an unreleased one.
savoy truffle is awesome, but it also makes me hungry x]
and people also know me as a beatlemaniac lol, they say maggy and think "beatles!"
One of my goals in life is to know/own every Beatles song. XD 3000! Wow! Just goes to show how talented they were!
I love when George says 'montélimar' in Savoy Truffle. I always end up grinning like an idiot, haha!
Ah yes, Beatlemania is still around today.... unfortunately instead of thinking 'beatles' most people think 'insane asylum' when they think of me. :\ Oh yeah, self esteem triumph! Haha!
Seriously though, I love them. Right now I'm watching A Hard Day's Night. :P
lol nice,i can't get enough of that movie.but what i really can't stand is that all of a suddy beatles merchandise is everywhere, but the people i see wearing them are people who don't know any of their songs ?_? because they want the "vintage look" x[ lol
i love the grinning moments in beatle songs/footage :D what made me grin the most was the video where john was trying to read good dog nigel and george took the book and ripped it x]
oh yeah and another really good rare one is "commonwealth" :]
Ahh I hate when people slap Beatles shirts and badges on and pretend to be part of the revolution or something.... It's like, dude, you aren't fooling anyone when the only song you know is Hey, Jude or Yesterday. D:
I pretty much love everything that they say and do... like in Help! how John has his book In His Own Write hidden inside every book in his library. XD And he picks one book out, takes out his book, kisses it and then stumbles into his 'bed hole' where there are like ten more, haha.
x] i love that scene too!, well i also love everything they do too lol, there's just a few things that make me laugh more than others. and i must get that book! i have in his own write (this short writty is the most wonderfoul larf I've ever ready) :D but a spaniard in the works is always expensive x[ oh well.. hopefully i win that bid on ebay that will hopefully stay under $20 lol
i should get to sleep by the way 0_0 it's 3am here, so if you respond i'll probably respond back in a loooong time
Haha, yes, definitely get some sleep. ^^ Or otherwise take your time, cause I think we've spammed this page too much, haha. I'll add you on AIM if that's cool or MSN if you have it. :)
I've not read either book but I always look for them when I go into bookstores. I don't think they're very well known where I live. XD
lol atleast it added some comment numbers on my video :D
well my aim is goshnessmaggy
and if you don't mind reading it without the book in your hand i'll message you the links to read them online, because darn youtube won;t let me post them as a comment... on my own video x[ lol
