  • which part has to be boiled for at least two hours to gain the most benefits, the outer bark or the inner part of the mushroom?

    thanks!

  • I'm thinking to brew both inner and outer and add to my smoothies or juice to sweeten it. Just found a woman in Alaska who wild forages and will send fresh harvested chaga, leaving some on the tree to regrow. I am so looking forward to it. Precious gift from Nature! Thanks for the info. :)))

  • The black bark is what carries the highest % of SOD's isn't it?

  • is there another fungus that looks like chaga but isn't? for the first time, i'm cooking what i believe is the right fungus, but i'm a little nervous that it could be the wrong thing.

  • Nice video but I would have killed for all that black bark on the chaga.

  • i used to have a picture i took at 20 feet from one

  • i have been triing to get books on mushrooms but most of them don't give good info on what there used for or how there used

  • @skunkape49 do you believe in the skunkape? I do

  • daniel what do you think about multi vitamins i am a vegan and dont think the stores fruits and vegs have enough nutrients in them becouse there picked to early

  • Hey Daniel i live in Kenai, Alaska ive been drinking chaga tea/coffee for about a month now i harvest chaga out my back yard basically. without the bark it makes a lot more enjoyable less bitter tea. You say you boil it for two hours everyday and share it with your partner are you consuming that whole pot of chaga in one day? im just curious to what the right amount to drink daily ive been drinking about 2 cups in the morning.

  • great videos! you speak wisely . first chance i get im goin to hunt some chaga ! got a nice wooded area behind my place. can you steep it even fresh or should it be dried and ground prior?

  • @canibal138 I am hearing we can do it either way. :)

  • Thank U DANIEL!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who's got time to do these things?

  • But doesn't the outer black also contain most of the SOD?

  • Thank you for this update, sounds like you have a much more mature relationship with Chaga than the last video on it.

  • i feel like your wasting such a precious gift, i live in gillam manitoba canada , i am kind of shocked. if you want to trim it then trim it. but not all over the ground and waste it.

  • Daniel and Ali, regarding reusing the chaga over and over for weeks on end - do you guys refrigerate the chaga chunks overnight between brews in order to avoid spoilage, or is it OK to leave it out on the counter? Thanks!

  • @DominikTheProducer

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to re-dry it each time, either in the oven on a very low temp or in a dehydrator :)

  • @jessomglol Yeah, that makes sense, I think I'm going to do that from now on! : ) Thanks jessomglol!

  • I've been using organic chaga as a tea and as a tincture. This product is more of a mild tasting tea and and has the color of the inner, corky, more tonic aspect of the chaga.

I haven't tried it yet, but using chaga with prepared rehmannia in a tea sounds good. Daniel, I assume you're using prepared rehmannia and not the less potent and more cooling raw rehmannia?

    Thanks for another excellent vid!

  • wow! where do you get your grounding shoes from?

  • @megasynchronicity1 ~ They are not grounding shoes, though when wearing them it does feel like being barefoot :) They are Vibram Five Finger shoes!

  • @alis1551 Are those KSO's? :)

  • My next question would be when you purchase chaga powder online, is it the chaga whole or the inner portion as you describe.

  • @virtuadc For fuck sakes...you people would buy anything this douche says you need. Who the hell eats "chaga powder" or needs it for that matter? Idiots.

  • @MrMaryJanes

I have been using chaga for over 2 years and can testify to it's health benefits, and for your information, Daniel does not advocate people buying it, he teaches people to harvest it themselves. I would personally prescribe Chaga to you personally, unfortunately, I have no information on chaga's ability to rejuvenate dead brain cells from too much "MaryJane".

  • @Pete45B If you actually believe that Marijuana kills brain-cells, you are infinitely more ignorant than Daniel Vitalis .

  • @MrMaryJanes Man, he just spent 9 minutes telling you how to forage and prepare it yourself, should you be interested in doing so, and you STILL interpret this as selling? Pack another bowl...

  • @Lakkhesis1976 Why do you hate Marijuana so much? Oh because your TV told you it was bad? Poor little sheep.

  • @MrMaryJanes Nothing against marijuana. Each to their own. How 'bout you ask Durian Rider how he feels about it?

  • @Lakkhesis1976 He is 100% anti drug/ Anti stimulant.

I'm all for natural drugs. Marijuana & magic mushrooms mostly. I make my living growing medicinal marijuana. I would NEVER do any man made drug. Those are bad news!

  • Thank you Daniel. I started using chaga a couple years back when you first started reporting on it. Been using it as a tonic for a couple weeks each season or so.

    I love that golak!

  • @kevinevran ~ We appreciate the support! :)

  • Can Chaga be found in birch trees all over America or just up north? I tried googling it but there is hardly any info on where Chaga can be found. I living in Northern Georgia.

  • @snailhands ~ Chaga can be found anywhere that there are birch trees, as the mushroom grows specifically on birches. So, if there are birches around, likely there is Chaga to be found! :)

  • Thank you Ali : )!
