  • Did it come with all this stuff,.I only had the doll with the hole in the eye???

  • Lol I had this as a kid.

  • This toy is worth a grip nowadays

  • scary thought here....i say dont do it....NO REBOOTS!! you here me!! do not make this into a tv show or gasp!!! A FUCKING MOVIE!!!! but since regular tv is so full of VAGINA POWER the failure has already passed! but you (abc, cbs, nbc) DONT YOU DARE DO IT!! f.y.i. you guys suck!! come up with something original other than what?? 20 shows of FAKE SUPER COP WOMEN runnin around being bad ass at being fictional unreal characters! i know, i know! you have a new big DYKE audience! but enough!

  • I'd like to thank Kenner for being a huge part in my life when I was a kid. You used to make the best toys!!! Anyways.... I love how the doll jumps thru the window and lands on the backseat of the car, and stop a terrorist attack. ...HAHAHAHA I love it!!

  • This was my favorite toy as a kid!!! Even more than my StarWars figurines and their vehicles, and my Mr.Pulsar. Thanks to my previous Mom and Dad, where ever u are!

  • @FacesOfTheWorld no cgi no fancy graphics this is amazing .

  • I loved playing with that toy as a kid.

  • fantastic

  • I believe this was produced for the New York Toy Fair that year and was never intended for broadcast.

  • Looks like a foreskin at 1:30

  • i wish they will show the six million dollar man again

  • @jromagosa1 - Just go out and buy the DVD set, Bludger! Get off your arse and do something, other than getting things for free ya Toss!!

  • Oh man this was the shit. I played with this set every chance I got. The wires would plug in to little holes on the bionic implants. It took me months to realize he had one in his upper arm - damn skin was so tight I couldn't roll it up that high! Oh the memories...

  • @TummyLover - Yeh, so tight! Tight as a Fishes arse!

  • ahhh, the good old days!

  • love the expression at 1:07, the poor kid looks like he just watched his chicken dinner get up and kidnap his can of grape soda

  • This is great stuff. Thanks fo posting this.

  • OUT OF THIS WORLD

  • i have the doll still that came out eventually...did a video...got it for Christmas 75 i believe....the thing is it's been so long the only thing that remains is the doll., so i have no clue what set it belonged to

  • I had Evel Knievel and other action figures but I dont remember this one.

  • Damn the seventies ruled!!!

  • alguien tiene este action figure

  • Hola, yo comencé desde el 2008 a coleccionar figuras biónicas, tengo dos de Steve, una de Jaime, Makatron y otros sets.

  • lol omg that was friggin funny.......oh crap i feel old

  • I also had te six million dollar man when i was about 6...Classic

  • I had this action figure when I was a kid. I don't remember this commercial though; it's hilarious--lol! The part where he goes through the car window is priceless-LOL!!!

  • This was a promotional video for toy buyers' for the initial launch of Kenner's SMDM action figure. It never aired as a commercial.

  • just the trick.

  • lol

  • I think I was about 4 when I got mine. This is epic nostalgia!

  • this would make a cool ringtone.

  • I remember getting this for Christmas one year...great action figure...

  • yep, had all of the action figures when I was young. I got "old enough" and thought I was too old (& cool) for such things. I sold an entire grocery bag of them for $4 at a garage sale.

Now every time I see them on ebay and what they get for them... I could almost cry.

But, they were really cool!!! Now I wish I had them just for the nostalgia.

  • Besides the length, another thing that would keep it from being broadcast was the depiction of the figure being able to crash through walls, windshields, etc. The TV broadcast rules would prevent portraying the figure doing things it can't do in real life. But for the toyfare commercial, the can have fun!

  • Great toy and memories...In the repair station we hooked up his arm to the live voltage comming from the wall (my cousin Lobsee's idea) -my cousin was blown through our living room window, the old lady next door was so startled she attacked him (thinking he was a local wolf suspected of nibbling the ears of her rubarb plants), ...thank God the 6 million dollar man doll was in perfect shape because using it to violently beat that woman was the only way I could get her off my Lobsee.

  • fucking awesome.

love the look on the kids face at 1:06

    'my dads gonna kill me!'

  • I had this "action figure" as we called it. I totally remember the way his arm had that rubber thing you could roll up to see his bionic part.

    Those were the days.

  • I miss when men were in charge - the world was more enjoyable - remember when family was first? And people minded there own business? You could send your kids to school knowing they would learn math, ENGLISH, etc (standard stuff) not indoctrination - wtf happened? Hello?

  • @WhoCaresFU I know what happened, we all allowed this to happen to ourselves, it still could have been that way if everyone stood up and spoke out about it, instead, it's now demoralized, detested and disgraced. Had folks actually been paying attention to what was happening, all of what is going on today, could have been prevented. Maybe what has happened in the past few years got others to take off their rose-colored glasses, open their eyes and see exactly what is going on. I hope that they do

  • @WhoCaresFU I would agree with you if it were not "When Men were in charge". Men are in charge which is why the World is fucked up the way it is. Oh yeah JEWISH men I should have said LoL

  • I was 6 when I had mine. Brings back great memories. Thanks for sharing.

  • my brother had him, and i had the bionic woman doll. they were in our stockings one year. i think i was five or so. my brother was three.

  • one of my neighbors had the repair station and i was sooooo jealous. haha

  • Way neat. I hope this never was actually broadcast because I can just see millions of kids breaking their Steve Austins by throwing him off balconies and such. (Mind you, that didn't stop me! I went through about 5 of them.)

  • Very cool!! :) :)

  • This is OUTSTANDING. I had the action figure, rocket/repair station, and the radio backup. Thanks for sharing!

  • Dam didn't see these on Tv back when I was kid in the best era ever the 70's.

  • This was never broadcast on TV - it's a Toy Fair/Promotional film for buyers.

As a side comment: note the crude sculpting of the headset - this is a prototype of the final product.
