I discovered this series from...Wicked. xD I love the broadway show wicked and i was listening to Defying Gravity and then i listened to the Glee version cuz i was bored and I saw all the comments were about House of Night and everyone's like OMG (spoiler alert? o.o) R.I.P. JACK WAHHHH and i was just like o.o uh okk then i learned about the series nd stuff. I haven't read this yet, but should I? I'm thirteen but I read a lot of mature books, what's the worst in these books?

Don't judge the series by the first book per say. Judge the series after the first three books (Marked, Betrayed, Chosen).

This series is heavily influenced by Pagan and Wiccan beliefs and legends, as well as Native American Cherokee mythology, so be sure you don't mind those before you read. Less prominent in the early books but gets more prominent and important in later books. Way better than T******* (Yes, I refuse to speak the name of such a disgrace to literature). Plot development, character development galore! The books get better and better the further you go! Not for everyone though, I will say.

@Alexwa13 At least you're aware not everyone will like this, because as a native of Oklahoma and descendant of the Cherokee, this book infuriates me, along with the fact that the plot, romantic element, and characters are heavily underdeveloped. I can't believe at one point I wanted to write something like this. I honestly believe teen girls deserve better than this.

Second book (Betrayed)- Pretty nice!

Third book (Chosen)- Hmm, this is getting really good!

Fourth book (Untamed)- Awsome!

Fifth book (Hunted)-INCREDIBLE!

Sixth book (Tempted)-Wow, AMAZING!

Seventh book (Burned)- Okay, this is officially on my top ten list! AWESOME!

Eighth book (Awakened)- Haha, this series is just so cool.

This series is progressive. It gets better every book. For mature readers 15+, keep in mind.

I must admit, the writing in this book scares me. I came here honestly not knowing what to expect but from the first few sentences this just sounds like a complete insult to any American Teenager, or infact any teenager at all. I'm glad I checked this out before buying, it sounds like a complete waste of time.

Actually, Anita Blake Vampire Series, Vampire Chronicles, and sookie stackhouse series are the best... At least when ur talking about books for adults. The younger kid ones, I guess maybe this one, once I read more I'll know if it's better than twilight ( which isn't a hard feat)
