UPDATE: i just caught a 811lb Blue Marlin! I caught it at Blue Deeps with squid. You can make it easier though by going into extreme mode by tapping the X at the select location menu. You can also change your rod color in Extreme mode by double-tapping the lighthouse at the select location menu and it will turn on and light up a duck in the woods. tap it and it brings you to a secret pond. there will be ducks and each one gives you a different rod. only in extreme mode though. hope this helped!

it doesnt light up it sends out a light that circles around it. and if thats not it, make sure you have the newest updated version.

bullshit, you can determine how far you cast. the more fluent you are with the iphone, the farther it goes. if youre retarded and cast it with a fast flick, you wont get your bobber very far. you have to cast smoothly and fluently.

Get your facts straight before you judge. As Zwilnik just said, don't flick, cast as if it were a real rod. you'll get 210 ft each time. Just cuz you suck at the game doesn't mean you can complain about it.

If you do a full cast (rather than the quick flick the reviewer does) you can cast to different distances and catch larger fish.
