I couldn't disagree more with most of you. Yes Kanye has changed, but he is no sell out. If he just wanted to be 'pop rapper who sells records' he would make another Graduation. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best albums I've ever heard. If you call that a pop record, you need to listen again. I love Shad. He is dope especially because he infuses Christian references in every song so I can really relate.

Whats its about is the message that they both convey, and the way that they express it.

Having a remix like this doesn't sound good mostly on the fact that neither fit with each others style. Kanye does not fit with Shad style, so vice versa.

In fact the moment Kanye uses a curse word in his rhyme its pretty much, out of flow, since Shad is mostly a clean rapper
