I don't really agree with sterilizing toys too often. Maybe after they've been sick or something, but if they're not exposed to germs at all then they'll never develop their immune systems properly. I've seen a few episodes where they wash stuffed animals that have gotten dusty or dirty by wrapping them in a pillowcase and tossing them in the washing machine, but my parents never sanitized my toys and I turned out all right!

My ex inlaws house was like this. Filth everywhere and my Mother-in-law used to tell me she was allergic to dust as well. lol I'd sit on their couch and a large puff of dust would fly up in the air all around me. They had vases with so much dust piled up it looked like hair strands.

I've been watching a bunch of episodes of this show just now, and I like it a lot. But there's something amusing I've noticed. In their UK-based episodes, they're all like, "All you need to clean this is a slice of lemon and some vinegar!", whereas in the US episodes, they're all like, "All you need to clean this is the Mister Clean(tm) Power Scrub(tm) Ultra-Blast 9000(tm), which you can find at any Wal-Mart(tm)!"

We Americans apparently simply can't do TV at all without sponsorship. :)

I love how Kim and Aggie use natural cleaners. I've used their ideas and they work wonderfully! I also have a pumice stone and my commode has never been cleaner (of course, it never looked like that in the first place!!! Good heavens!)

Not sure of quality, but it is the original loo from when the house was built, in 40s/50s. People come in our house and comment on the fact we have interior walls made of bricks!! Think they're used to plywood walls in Barrett Houses or something.
