Good point. Have you noticed how many so called neocons are Jewish. I hate to sound anti-semitic, but it's so blatant- Doug Feith, Wolfowitz, Perle, Podhoretz, Kristol, & columnist Charles Krauthammer,(not a complete list). We give Israel a blank check, & the Arab world hates us. I always thought as De Gaulle said, ' Countries don't have friends, they have interests'. The sole fact that Israel is a 'democracy' (does that include W.Bank settlements?), is hardly enough to support our policies.
100% right. the problem is AIPEC influence on congress (politicians never met a lobby dollar they didn't like) and media propaganda that equates israel's "security" with our own national interests in the public mind. i never believe media polls that show average "americans" supporting israel no matter how many times it's repeated.
Apparently the percentage of Jews in the military 7 tenths of 1 percent. I don't understand why we are willing to put our national security at risk for Israel.
You have to put that in perspective of the tiny amount of the US's population that is comprised of Jewish people.... Both of my older brothers are U.S. Marines and we are an orthodox jewish republican family from nyc, so don't stereotype or quote numbers out of their proper perspective/ratio.
On top of all of that, we are sacrificing the American economy to do it and putting a terrible burden on our kids to pay for our blind, neo-con, imperialist policies.
Thank you Jim Webb, rationality is definitely something that is missing from an endless war that has tanked our economy, and taken waaaay more lives than we can bear.
We should have invaded Pakistan...its a nuclear armed dictatorship that harbors Al Ciaeda leadership. Whilst we're on the subject of our allies..Israel has more than enough money, an extremely than capable airforce, one of the worlds most efficient intelligence agencies, and plenty of undeclared nuclear weapons to defend itself.
First its Al Qaida, second a nuclear armed dictatorship? Then what is America, when the leader can over rule constitution and not be question on it?
America needs to butt out of the world's business, yes i know they where attacked by Al Qaida, but were you really, and when was the last mention of finding Oshama or bringing down the organisation of Al Qaida?
First, I know how to spell Al Qaida...I was addressing the FACT that Osama bin Laden was an admitted CIA asset. I agree, Bush amounts to a dictator at this point. I was simply stating, we invaded Iraq because of its "threat", but Al Qaida escaped our forces in Afghanistan by fleeing to Pakistan...our allies. Al Qaida does have a presence in Iraq now, but only because we let them go. I agree with a Non Interventionalist policy.
While we are talking about Osama, they did increase the bounty on his head from 25 to 50 mil, but I agree with you, we are not interested in finding him. Are you aware that the FBI has admitted there is no hard evidence linking Osama bin Laden to 9/11?
ok sorry, didnt catch onto the CIA in there, im still asleep. but yea i knew that FBI apparently know nothing about 9/11 just as MI6 apparently know nothing about 7/7 the London bombings. But if you look at the 'conspiracy theories' its rather convincing, and neither governments have any explaination, they just keep scaring the public with threats of death from the Muslim world which is not the case!
a scape goat! ofcourse the government would denny every word of this, and heaven forbid you should ask them about the 'New World Order' and their own statement that "it would take an event like Pearl Harbour..." to change this country into what they want, which is a nation scared of its own shadow and will do the governments every bidding if it means they can be 'safe'
yea, and even though they've been called on it, they continue to either deny it but then give no evidence to contrary, or they change the subject. i dont think we need to worry about stable government in Iraq, but here! And now Korea have stopped their Nuclear program, shouldn't the US take a page out of Korea's book and back out of Iraq
I don't think you can blame general/dictator Musharraf for AlQaida's presence in Pakistan.
Besides, from a counter-terrorism point of view, invading Pakistan would have been an even bigger mistake than to invade Iraq. The taliban would love nothing more than to see Pakistan turn into Afghanistan #2.
Fact is, we didnt control the borders of Iraq, so as soon as we got in, they fled in every direction, and now we have no hope of capturing them.
If we had controlled the countries around them, not by invasion, threat or force, but by diplomatic communication, saying that the threat of Al Qaida cannot be allowed to spread. But even at that, we should be there, not still and not ever.
I think Jim Webb would make a great VP for Obama.

Lieberman is first concerned for Isreal. America comes second to him. How many American Jews are sacrificing their sons in the Iraq war?

Hello fellow american
Giuliani is out of control.
All we hear from him is 9/11, but do you remember Rudy before then?
WE sure do.
Check out what our fellow ferrets are saying about him:

Al Qaida was created by our goverment and used to pin the blame on..It was obviously a fasle flag attack.

You're refering to the New American Centuries mission statement. I acknowledged that Septempber 11th, 2001, was an inside job.
