Well, in your house there are some mistakes: The style of the house should be only one: You put some different styles of windows: That looks very ugly. Bad idea. And the furniture, OMG! The retro furniture is only well in a Retro house, not in a normal house. That's a bad idea. And third: You should put the quantity of furniture that they are necessary. You put very few furniture and for that reason your house now looks very empty and incomplete.

@meueec I totally agree. At the very least, the windows should be the same COLOUR. The stark white and dark stained wood windows don't go together nicely on the same house. The furniture does look rather odd...and the upstairs hallway is kind of empty as well..

@meueec The different choice of windows made the house more interesting. The lack of furniture is probably because a sim house is never fully completed, things are always added as you play. And how boring would it be to stick to one style in one whole house! So actually all of your points are invalid.

You can get your sims to fish in any pond if you have Open For Business .. Just click on the pond and the option should come up to fish .. The more your sim fishes the more close they get to getting their fishing talent badge! Once they have this badge new baits will be unlocked

Either way its fun. I prefer not cheating because it gives the game a purpose and makes it challenging. When I use money cheats I make a nice house and everything but then after it's built the game quickly gets boring. Earning money and upgrading your stuff makes this game much more fun then cheating. But that just my opinion.

With any Sims 2 Expansion Pack after Nightlife you can see houses outside of your own but not play them at the same time. It isn't any hack. You can turn the function on using a button in the options mode - that's probably why you haven't seen the neighbouring houses yet.
