My baby would escape that in a matter of seconds. Pinning is not a good idea either.

Yes you may tuck the ends or tie the ends...that is possible :)

I think we should avoid the safety pin if we feel it's unsafe & especially if the baby is fussy. Or just be very careful in doing so. I always pin it away from the baby. Thanks for your comments momsies...Happy swaddling.
um i did this and its very helpful thanx but i nearly pricked chil dwith safety pin. maybe tie the ents together rather than using pins!

i think she did a great job, the baby isnt fussing or crying like that woman in the Ivillage videos. She seems very content. good job.
