@ivantheterrible60 It's a little late replying (5 months), but there really isn't any specific method for aligning the cross properly... other than learning the very basics of how the cube rotates and where pieces are. That much should really be something you should be able to figure out on your own.

Once I get to the fish pattern on the yellow side I get stuck (after setting up the white, and first two layers). I do the algorithm listed but it always comes out missing two yellow blocks and I have no idea how to manipulate them without screwing up the cube. I have re-scrambled it and gotten to this point about 20 times now.

when i get to the third level, at around 19:35 the white and yellow (top and bottom) are solved, and one blue side. however the other sides dont have like "red orange red" or, "orange green orange" for example, (as in only the top middle square needing to be changed), its got 2 squares for each side that have to change :S any idea?

K. I got through the 2'nd level but I cant fully get the last one. When I get through the fish I have only one side with 2 same colours in the corners. And I can turn it indefinitely because it wont darn change ;p.

My only question is ... after I am finished with the yellow bottom face ... what if I dont have the top layer as (ex: blue green blue) .. what if I have it as (blue blue green)? I have this problem alot. What i usually do, is just restart completely. I can get to the last layer really simple, but usually get caught by not having the corner pieces being how they are int he video, so I just restart until they are.

After a little messing around, I'm still having the same problem, but have realized that now, R', B', and L' are all reversed for me now. I don't know how it happened, but instead of doing R on the steps, I have to do R', and instead of R', I have to do R, and vice versa on all the others... Its making it extremely difficult to solve, and once I get anywhere on it now, it messes up and I gotta start over again :(

I'm having some problems on the second layer. I solved my cube once following your instructions exactly, but now, on the second layer, the instructions only seem to work about 10% of the time. When trying to put it into the left slot, I end up with 2 white pieces out of place, and when the right slot, the same thing. It worked the first time I solved it, but now it only works once in a while. Any Ideas?
