  • Hell yeah!

  • actually clubpenguin there is a correlation between our entertainment and their paychecks if it wasnt for us watching the show they wouldnt be getting paid:l

  • looooooove

  • haha i get it really funny

  • really?? cause i dont

  • never mind i just got it lol

  • lols this is wiiieerd

  • Yeah, they shouldn't get compensated properly for their work...GTFO

  • lmao I hope you're kidding. YOU'RE the crybaby if you're being serious. So what if you have to watch re-runs? So what if you have to do something besides watch tv? There's a big difference between your entertainment and THEIR paychecks. You're really selfish if you think your entertainment is more important than their livelihoods. Think before you write.

  • Another of "that" kind of mentality, eh? "I'll smear feces all over my face, even thought you JUST told me not to, JUST because I can! Ha HA!" Look, if you can't self-control how you use the freedom freely given to you, it's just gonna have to be taken away.

So what was the deal? They found out they're not geing compensated for NBC's online streaming ads? Dunno the details, but it seems petty striking over something so trivial. I'm sure there's a bigger picture somewhere in there.

    Tampax.

  • Exactly

  • dmfc, I hearby declare you EPIC winner.

  • that do it do it thing is annoying as hell

  • haha That's totally NBC.

  • oh my god that is hilarious

  • lol

  • ROFLMFAO.

  • LOL

  • hilarious

  • i didn't get it either!

  • lol it shows that without writers, theres nothing to show on tv, so they just keep showing commercials

  • well that's wasn't obvious at all but i get it... now why does that concern the office or why would it be "the office way"?

  • its the office way because it shows the writers of the office on strike..

  • oh i get it now...thanks! :)

  • i switched to tampax!

  • I don't get it.

  • its just....the internet...DO IT DO IT, YOU DO IT "yeah we're here strinking, over" DO IT DO IT, YOU DO IT

  • haha/.....

  • I wish there was more promotion in that! (wink wink)

  • this is awesome. lol. love it.

  • HAHAHAHA! So true; so true.

  • lol, great remix!

  • At least on this webisode I can skip the commercials.... I support the writers but I also hate them for killing earl.

  • Jebem Vam mater svima, jedite govna scenaristi jebem vam mater svima, kako bi jebo onu jennu u sisu, ima jedna epizoda gdje joj se vide bradavice, jebeno

  • lol. v.clever.

  • i think that Jennifer lopez made that song for this certain "music video" great video

  • LMAOOO

  • So what if the writers strike? What's the worst that can happen, that we might get bored with TV and read a book? There's nothing but junk on TV anyway.

  • OMG!!! make the DO-IT, DO-IT stop! that was terribly annoying

  • The Writers Guild Foundation has established an Industry Support Fund to assist members of the industry who are in financial distress as a direct result of the Writers Guild of America strike against the AMPTP, which began on November 5, 2007. This Fund is designed to provide emergency assistance for food, housing, transport, medical and other expenses, info at btlnews, org under strike blog or email me i will help direct you to forms ...spread the helpful information to those in need please

  • Let's see you write the script for the best comedy on TV!

  • I bet they could get some scabs to write pretty good scripts.

  • OK here is some perspective, how about getting paid for your work! NBC pays the BBC for the rights for the show, An artist, say Paul McCartney, writes a song and every time its played by other musicians or performed he gets paid. He's made a lot of money but that doesn't mean he still shouldn't gain the rewards of his work. That song maybe the same three chords other musicians have used for centuries but its his lyric, his melody and many people like it and bought the song to enjoy.

  • technically he doesn't get paid everytime a band plays the song. if it's recorded he sure does, but there are instances (small town bar cover bands) where paul would see 0 dollars.

  • Well if he and his merry band of attorneys wanted to roam the country side seeking out every barechord johnny band he could demand payment but I'm sure Sir Paul hads better things to do. Although with this divorce thing he might need the money now. ;)

  • haha touche!

  • i like watching reruns and all but i have seen them all before. they get paid enough come on entertain me please!

oh and guys for the office reruns go to tbs.

they either have them tuesday or thursday!

  • what's the name of the song during the pepsi commencial part with Jimmy?

  • Streamline by newton

  • thanks a lot

  • I hope they all come to an agreement soon. I miss my Thursday nights... :-(

  • hahahahahahhahahaaha

    wow, i agree

  • That was great!

  • hilarious.

  • Thursday's have like... no meaning now. : (

  • I LOL'ed alot.

  • hahahhaha this video is awesome

the funniest part was that tampax commercial lol

  • hahahaha!

  • Awesome

  • lol

  • stoopid... Thats the "irony"

  • WTF this shit video is nothing but ADDS!

  • that's the point

  • ugh

  • I miss The Office! Blah.

I started a page where you can read and post quotes from The Office.

Google: JM Tohline Missing The Office

This'll send you to the blog, and you can scroll down to find the 'Missing The Office' blog. Go read and post!

  • My favorite part was when she switched to Tampax.

  • yeah same here

  • Clever.

  • Lol. Great satire

  • LOL! too much advertising thats where the money comes from and thats where the money goes!

  • lol nice one fuck them like they so poor try to work 7 bucks on hour wankers

  • LOL! Nice move.

  • the joke is that there is a great amount of advertisements, as nbc commonly does.

  • I don't understand this video at all.

  • what you having?

  • The "do it do it" gotta go

  • ear ree tate tin

    right?

  • well played, sir

  • WTF?

  • it really does remind me of watching it on NBC, which I don't do because it sucks.

  • Use British Office scripts, NBC!

  • ya but the british one is actually not as finny anymore.. the american one got way better writers like second season and it has gotten way better

  • I read a few of the comments below me and it got to me~~~ kinda makes me wonder... HELLO does anyone out there who works for a living honestly think it would be a good, fair or just thing to NOT get paid for their labor?? bottom line~~~The writers WRITE the material so they deserve to be paid!!~~~

  • best show ovever

  • its basically saying NBC has a shitload of commercials

  • i didnt really get what was happening half the time there

  • It was a joke. Like there putting a bunch of ads in it and there complaining about not getting money from ads.

  • oh uh yeah-only kind of funny. anyway can't wait for heroes tonight lol!

  • That's so funny.

  • You people do realize that when you give more money to the actors, writers, directors, etc. who claim they deserve a piece of the profit pie that we, the consumer, actually pay for the raise. Movie tickets have gone up, commercial time has increased. Do you really think giving the writers more money will improve what you see? God, I am so turning to BBC. At least there entertainment still exists.

  • I'm curious to know how much revenue the ads actually generate. I imagine a bulk of that money goes to the actual maintenence and bandwidth costs associated with streaming shows online. I'm afraid that this writers strike may negatively affect they way we get to watch shows online...which would negatively affect my only means of watching shows like Heroes or the Office.

  • "I'm curious to know how much revenue the ads actually generate. I imagine a bulk of that money goes to the actual maintenence and bandwidth costs associated with streaming shows onlin"

BWA HA HA HA HA HA No, not at all. NBC is owned by UNiveral who is owned by GE who owns the internet(kinda), it costs them nothing. Also the thousands of Dollars a minute they earn off those adds more than cover Bandwidth. Come on, its a money machine

  • are you serious. you can't own the internet you dumbass. it's like saying al gore invented the internet. moron.

  • Not nearly enough commercials for Chuck and Heroes.

  • Some might argue that this makes them just slightly better, hahaha

  • I must say, other than forgetting to plug Bee Movie (come on now!) this was pretty damned awesome.

  • haha. true.

  • it made sense you just didn't get it

  • You're not collecting add revinue, are you guys? Noooo impossible. Support the writers!

  • We've been collecting for the ads, but, according to our accounting department, it hasn't gone in to profit yet so we can't send any money to the striking writers yet. We project that this video will be in the black around 2017, if it continues in syndication. wish us luck!

  • Good job putting the commercials in.

  • Ha! That was great. Thanks for supporting the writers!

  • i hate jennifer lopez

  • she's really keen on you, douchebag

  • that didn't even make the slightest motherfucking sense. haha!

  • AHAHAHAH i tottaly get it

  • Lol as soon as I got this joke I was lMAO. I for one am a huge Office fan and when I somehow miss an episode I just go to the NBC website and watch their full length shows. Actually, I think TIVO should go on strike too, if this "watch full length episodes online" thing eventually spreads to every TV show on the face of the earth then no one will ever need to tivo. LOL just kidding-but that would be funny.

  • They're making fun of how many ads appear on these so called "promotions" which are actually the whole episodes with paid advertisements. Advertisements that pay networks to put them in the episodes which act like commercials. Sound a lot like t.v.?? Well that's because it is. And this is what the writers aren't getting paid for.

  • Am i the only one who got really irritated with the intermittent ads and the "do it! do it!' crap? Man this video's annoying, I just wanted to hear the opinions of the cast... now my head hurts.

  • look at the clip this is a reply to.

    see which one is better.

    then you'll know something.

like who's side you're on. Or what you prefer. Or something.

  • That is the point! he s maiking a point. I think this is great!

  • I think that was the point.

  • This is so much better than the original version that the WGA posted.

Who needs to listen to the show writers when you can be watching indo nesian chicky talk about sanitary napkins and awesome suck dance routines for soadie pops

  • What does this have to do with anything, moron?

  • Nick Shea is our bob dylan

  • Jessica Simpson could have been our Joan Baez

  • Paris Hilton IS Erica Jong

  • NOT ENOUGH COMMERCIALS

  • This could have been great, but the advertisers wimped out

  • will they do a christmas special?

  • hanukah more like it

  • when is satire the right time?

  • never. shit your cake holes.

  • spell check?

  • Not fair that the viewers are jerked around because of this. They're even making fun of us with those lines...

  • boo hoo

  • I take solace in the fact that this can't go on for much longer.

Worst case scenario our shows are delayed for a few weeks of months tops. Think about how much the big bosses would lose if, say, all the seasons of the shows were cut in half (or less). No way in hell they'll let that happen.

But I hate being jerked around.

  • To all the people bitching about the "greedy" "rich" writers who live in apartments as opposed to the studio executives who live in huge homes, I wonder if any of you ever want raises where you work. Suck it up, bitches! Keep doing your work for the same wages for the next 20 years. Who cares about inflation? You're lucky to have jobs!

  • That is what my Grandmother says "They are lucky to have jobs. stop complaining and get back to work"

  • your grandmother is a moron.

  • whoever this is suppose to make fun of NOW is not the time.

  • true

  • so...

should probably wait about an hour or 2 before you post the other five or six you got, rotten. NOW is not the time.

  • wait i know this one

  • Yeah. Coming thsi fall to channel 4

  • now is the time to eat

    me

  • i agree now is not the time.

  • I will not be buying anything until after this strike is done.

  • cheep cheep

  • i'm downloading season one right now. i just really love this show.

  • i just bought some program that helps you download stuff like the office and heroes WAY faster

  • I will be buying whatever my heart desires with my scab earnings

  • i will be buying scabs with mine. i'm a scab collector.

  • that's stupid AND disgusting

  • and tasty

  • yum

  • I will not be buying any more dvds or downloading any more shows online until this strike is settled in favor of the writers. I will also be taking note every product advertised on these shows over the air and I will NOT be purchasing any of them.

You have my support. Signed, A WGA wannabe. :)

  • I will be not giving a sweet F about any of it

  • well done

  • Looks like the writers got Nascar size sponsorship

  • woah. this is fuggin' hilarious. it's a little nauseating, but then i'm also completely stoned and also high.

  • stone and high - my favorite.

  • HIGH LAIR HEE HOUSE

  • you're high and watching youtube? seriously. you may be all alone. perhaps you should go look out of your front door. we're in you driveway and we'd like to have a word with you.

  • are you outside my house too? wait or were you talking to me? who are you talking to?

  • (Reply) (Spam)

Office writers, we're all behind you even if that means less show for us.

Paul is a cutie. And the group as a whole are funny. Pay them for their funny. Seriously, not cool.

But bigger picture: The little guys actually NEED the money [no offence Mindy, Greg, Michael, BJ, Paul, etc.].

  • is this some kind of sick joke?

  • yup. sick joke. us editors get too much time off and get paid way too much too

  • this isn't the sick joke.

take a look in the mirror for that

  • Go Writers! You have my full support. I hope you get everything your entitled too.

Remember There is Power in Numbers. God Bless,

    <3 Mandy

    God Ble

  • You all are getting totally screwed. One of the best shows on television today should not be stiffled one bit. The studios better pay up soon or you are going to have a very angry group of Office Hungry fans. I support you all 100%!

  • hey you running dog of the capitalist pig. come the revolution you're the first against the wall.

  • was this really on tv?

  • you must be an idiot

  • yeah. i saw it this evening

  • no way. you saw it on you fucking computer dickwad.

  • Everyone's so touchy.

  • time to run the commies out of town

  • fuck you prick
