Awesome pictures of old Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and even a few of Hialeah during the land boom of the early 1920s! It must have been an interesting place to have lived in at the time. I even heard that Hialeah was once a gambling town with casinos, mobsters, horse races, and moonshine. Awesome video.
Please get your facts straight. When that trail was surveyed it was called the trail ta- Miami it was later called Tami Ami trail because it spelled it. But if you look on the survey records it's called the Miami trail or when spoken the road ta miami. This trail for a long time was not much more than foot trails.
