I totally agree with you that the sweetiness can overwhelm the peatiness. I just bought the Bowmore 16 yr Wine Cask Matured bottle, sophisticated stuff. Try that one. This is it, I'll pour another glass.

great reviiew ! I'm half way through a bottle (since xmas ).
the following is a nice sherry.Lustau Solera Reserva Pedro Ximinez.
Its very moreish ,packed with masses of flavour.
unfortunately many folks' first experience of sherry is at christmas when grandma gets out the bottle she's had in the cupboard for 20 years LOL.
And hence it tastes like weak vinegar .

Yeah i hear you Bowmore is in my top list as well, and they have many choices available.
That's too funny we very well could have been
sharing a dram of this Darkest at the same time.

great vid as always i just tryed that Bowmore last night its in my top 10 as of now but i have only tryed maybe 7 diff kinds
